Yeah I didn't update yesterday....ugh, it was a good day, but bad food choices!...LOL thank god its past me now...haha

Today, was great...went to my first gym session with a personal trainer...did 60 minutes of cardio/and 30 minutes of upper body...felt great! Today, I jogged for 30 minutes without stopping!! At a decent pace I might add....I did little over 2 miles...I felt really good afterwards....I'm really excited about this gym membership...

so, the only thing I didn't like about the session was....we had to weigh and measure....ummm yeah, not that great...lol I weighed in at 196 with my shoes on...lol (like that really matters), and my measurements are lets say interesting....lol But whatever, thats why I'm there...to make a change....so my next weigh in and measurement is next month on the same day as today...so we shall see....

Breakfast-slimfast

Lunch-salad with chicken and cheese and croutons no dressing

Snack-banana

Dinner-haven't had dinner as of yet, so I will update later

WHOA!!! THats awesome! Congrats on the gym membership. Sounds like a lot of fun that will pay off if you use it... unlike me who never did when I had a membership.

I've been doing pretty good in the working out department...I've been going to the gym everyday...working my behind off!! However, not so hot on the eating department... :)

Today's exercise: (I actually worked out twice today, so the time is combined from both workouts)

Jogging on treadmill-20 minutes of warm up and cool down/40 minutes of jogging...

Stationary bike:36 minutes

Elliptical: 15 minutes

Did upper body-chest press/butterflies/triceps/biceps/seated row/something to do with my shoulders (don't know the name)

did some ab workouts

for food:

Breakfast-slimfast

Snack-slimfast

Lunch-fruit and 3 egg omellete/fat free cheese topped with onions and tomatoes, cilantro

snack-sugar free pudding

Dinner-1 cup of rice/ steak from the grill (I'm not too sure how many ounces, I'm taking a guess by saying 6 or 8 oz)

Snack (bite of my daughters cake...lol) and some fruit

and drank probably 60 oz of water.....

I really need to stick to the nutrition....
 
Another day to count calories!! Ugh...I'm sore as hell today! I feel like someone just punched the crap outta my chest...lol I suppose thats a good thing...no pain no gain right?! wrong...I decided to weigh myself this morning to check things out...and I gained 1 pound...hopefully its some good weight I'm puttin' back on from doing weights and such...I'm not gonna freak out...I'm going to give myself about a month to see some change...I've decided to set small goals...in 10 pound increments...and go from there...its better to look at losing 10 pounds rather than 50 pounds...

Breakfast-Weight control Oatmeal

Snack-dannon fit yogurt/1 cup of canteloup

30 oz of water

Lunch-chicken salad/reduced fat mayo/onions/eggs mixed....about 1 cup in light wheat tortilla...1/2 cup of canteloup

20 oz water

I'm going to hit the gym this afternoon and do an hour of cardio and abs for today....

pre work out meal-1/2 cup of chicken salad

Cardio-1 hour/lower body and abs 30 minutes

Dinner-canteloup and the rest of that damn chicken salad..fat free milk

55 oz water

Total water 105 oz...damn thats a lot!

I have been slackin' on my diary! Well that is about to change...I was actually reading a lot of info on this forum about nutrition and exercises and weights...so with that said...I think I might have a little bit of info to guide me to a better direction! I can't put my body in starve mode...which, I didn't think I was really doing...but by reading Steve's diary, thats exactly what I was doing wrong....so I am going to tweak my diet a little bit and workout as I have been...and not trying to really focus on the numbers on the scale, but rather the inches I have shed!!

Breakfast-2/3 cup of pure protein granola/with fat free milk

I am about to go out for a walk right now before it starts raining...I am taking today off from the gym.....

Ok so I walked 3 miles before it started to rain, ugh Washington weather sucks! I decided not to workout today, taking it easy today with the kids...I decided to get on the scale after my bath, and I have no idea what happened, because couple days ago I was at 195, well the scale read 192.2...so I had my son hop on and it said he was at 112 which is about right, and my daughter was at 51.4 which was about right too, so hey I'll take the 192.2!! As crazy as it may sound, I felt better after....haha, I'm such a goon sometimes!

Lunch-1.5 cup of chicken/wheat pasta in spinich sauce

Snack-protein shake/fruit

Snack-granola bar

Dinner-Steak with tomatoes

Snack-fatfree milk/granola and cranberries

I was real hungry today....I probably went over my calories for the day....ahhh tomorrow is a new day! I already packed my food for the day...for work, the gym, and for class...so it should be easier to stick to it!


I need to up my water intake, not so good today...I think I only had 30 oz....I will have another 60 oz before the day is over!!

Workout-60 minutes of cardio/40 minutes of strength training

Had about 60 oz of water so far...I'll try and down another 40 oz...

I have class and lab today...so its going to be a long ass day!

This week has been kinda hectic...school has become intense, I can't wait until it is over! 4 more months!! I've been stressing out a lot lately as well...with minor things, however I tend to worry a lot...that can't be a good thing!
I'm not too sure what is going on with my body right now...I seem to be losing weight fast!...I know, I know...I bitch that I don't lose weight fast enough, and now I'm bitching because I lose weight too fast...haha what can I say!! I weighed myself this morning and it said I weighed 189.8 which is great, however just on the 30th of March I was weighing in at 195...It could have been because Tom wants to come visit very soon, or it could be water weight...who knows...I've been eating really good, and even cheated one day and had jack n the box...lol I've been eating or trying to eat every 3 hours, and make wise decisions about food...maybe I need to up my cals a little bit...I don't know..I'm just ventin' right now...I've been really trying to focus not on what the scale is saying and what my clothes are saying...I was able to get into a medium scrubs, but it was a tad bit tight around my belly...that is where my problem is...my whole mid section...but I was happy to at least get into the mediums, so I bought medium scrubs for when I do lose another 20 pounds....right now I'm wearing a large, which is roomy...so I feel good about that. I still weigh myself every morning, I think it is a habit, I don't get upset if it changes too much...
I'm beginning to think that I will never shed this fat around my midsection, I do cardio every single day, I usually jog now (since I'm able now!!) and then do the elliptical on the days I work out my upper body....I know I have to loser overall fat to shed my belly, but it doesn't seem like I'm shedding fat...lol frustrating!

I'm off to the gym...I will update later!
