Not too bad of a day....so far...

Breakfast-1 small wheat bagel with 1 tablespoon peanut butter and jelly-210 cals

Snack-Kudos- 100 cals

Lunch- 2 ham slices-40 cals
6 triskets - 120 cals
1 tablespoon hummus-25 cals
1.5 tablespoon of cottage cheese - 40 cals

Workout-ellipitcal 60 minutes

Thats about all so far....I'll update little later


Ok....it's later!

I did 65 minutes of cardio....did some lunges, push ups, sit-ups, and some workouts on my legs....

Meal 3 - 3 oz broiled steak/spinch

Snack-sugar free pudding 60 cals
carrots
1 plum

Meal 4-chicken....did awful with dinner....I had a piece of fried chicken that my mom made....Had dinner over there....just ate the chicken...but I feel kinda bad....

I'll work out harder tomorrow....wow I keep saying that after I do horrible...hmmmm......

My new goal.....I would like to lose 40 pounds by July 11th....My son is going to Junior Olympics in San Jose California...so I'd like to trim down by then....so that will be a goal I have...and I will achieve it!

Today was a frustrating day...had a lot going thru my mind...had work and class...I'll be happy once school is finished...I've been stressed lately, and that triggers me to want to eat...I didn't go running to food...instead I've started to do these breathing exercises...looked into meditation...its relaxing...

Ok, I didn't do a lot in the exercise department today...I just did 40 minutes of cardio...but I worked out hard, and broke a sweat!

now for the run down of my food....

Breakfast-Plum
1 small wheat bagel with 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of ham

Snack-sugar free pudding

before workout snack-1 hard boiled egg including the yolk
2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese

Worked out for 40 minutes

Lunch-3 oz of steak
baby carrots raw

Mid day snack - fruit (Plum/apple/orange) cut up dipped in low fat yogurt

Dinner-lean hot pocket
raw baby carrots
sugar free pudding

Late snack- chicken breast

I had about 80 oz in water today....not as much as I drink usually, but still a good amount...

I'll do some push ups before bed to work my flabby arms UGH!! I'll be doing upper body tomorrow along with cardio....my legs are sore!

Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing all the wrong exercises...I know that I am losing weight slowly, but safely....but I wonder if I can get the most out of my exercises some how....

The girls in my nursing class gave up there diets...I wish I had someone who will share the pains of dieting...lol I do so much better with a buddy than alone...I feel I can't give up when doing it with someone...if that makes any sense?!

However, my friend @ school said she could see a lot of change, and that I was looking good...so that was motivation there....My mom even said my boootay was getting smaller....hmmm....I kinda would like to keep a rear...or build up a better lookin' one...haha who wouldn't right?

Alrighty then, I am done rambling on....I will be back tomorrow to list what I have done and eaten....

Alright! Another day, more calories to count and more exercise to burn those calories...YES! lol...just kiddin'...I'm in one of those kinda dorky moods...I have the morning off so I will workout as much as I can before I go to class....
I'll be doing an 8 week challenge...I think it will motivate me...lord knows I need ALL the motivation I can get at the moment...I took some pictures of my face...wow can you say basketball?! Yes...put a wig draw some eyes and a smile with a dimple, and you got my face...lol Hmmmm....whats up with that?! made me laugh looking at it...I did a full body shot too...HAHA yeah, I will not harm others eye sights by posting them...they will be my personal reminders of how outta control I have become...I was like "Damn Kat you have fat everywhere...even some BACKFAT! is that possible?!" LOL...its crazy...I never really noticed before...but I have couple love handles goin' on...some backfat to keep me cushioned and lots of belly...all in all it reminds me of a trash bag...oh goodness....I can only laugh at the moment...

I will do a total body workout today...more on arms and cardio...so let me get started and I will update in awhile

Ok...so my damn elliptical isn't working too well...It's lop sided when I work out...! I'm going to have my dad come and fix it...I'm not good fixing things...I will just break it some more!!

So instead for exercise I went outside and walked...it was a decent day no rain today...the sun was out...perfect day to go stroll the neighborhood....I walked around the lake...which is a loop...and if you go around once its 1.5 miles so I walked around it twice...so from my driveway around the lake twice was 3.3 miles, also it had hills I had to walk up so it was at incline for a good half the way...I enjoyed the walk actually....it was nice to take in some air...clear my head...and see the scenery....
I must live in the all American neighborhood...lol people working in their lawns, comcast working on the side of roads, the trash guy picking up the trash (who was kinda cute by the way!) and people jogging and walking...and they smile and say HI! A drastic change from the neighborhood in Boston to the neighborhood here....lol Lots of trees here, and it was beautiful to see all the trees and woods and the moss..haha wow I sound like I'm on crack right about now...lol

I think that I will walk out doors more often...I will change up my exercise routine now...I was doing the elliptical for 6 weeks straight...I think I will implement some out door walking and jogging? HMmmmm...not too sure about the jogging part yet, but that is my goal to jog by summer...

it's still early only 11...I think I will do a core workout before I grab lunch and head out for class....

Drank another 16 oz....

so far 32 oz oh H20....

So I did 30 minutes of the core workout...felt good

now I'm eating some lunch....and I'm going to have to vent!

I am eating for lunch: 4 oz of sliced thin beef with onions
2 tablespoons of butternut squash (yuck)
1/2 yam baked
1 tablespoon fat free cottage cheese...(YUCK!!)
Someone told me to eat more cottage cheese that it is good for me...so I went out and got some cottage cheese...Oh god its gross!! I have to hold my breath when eating it and the texture in my mouth is not too pleasant...yuck!! What the hell is so good about cottage cheese and weight loss?! Trust me if thats the only thing in my house was cottage cheese to eat I will deffo lose some drastic weight...by NOT eatint it!! I keep telling myself, ok Kat just be open to new things and eat more healthy...but goodness there is a problem if I have to hold my breath to chew...LOL Gosh, I'm such a kid!! That is something my daughter would do...lol

ok I'm doin' whinning about food....

I feel like my head is about to explode! Too much shit from work, class, personal issues, weight loss issues, all my sons sports to follow up on...kids school work.....I need some time for myself!!

Today has started out pretty good! Went to work this morning...left early...got a lot accomplished..you can see my desk in my office finally!! Got caught up in all my paperwork...decided to call it a day and left...

I went for a walk yesterday and did the core workout...and now my whole body is sore! Which is a good thing....even my "arse" is screamin' at me...I thought about not working out today, but I know how I can get...if I slack one day, then forget it...I'll continue to slack off! So I'm going to go on my walk again, lets see how far I walk today...

Breakfast-1 small wheat bagel with 1 slice cheese and 1 slice of turkey meat

early morning snack-1 plum

Snack-1 dannon yogurt

Pre work out meal-2 pineapples cut up with 1 Tablespoon of cottage cheese
2 turkey slices and 1 cheese rolled up

so far I only had 20 oz of water....I'll update later
 
I know what you mean, if i stop exercising one day then it's so hard to do it the next days...Ah, the troubles of us lazy people... :p

Ok, I'm going to vent for a second here....I really hate people trying to give me advice on nutrition when they give you bad info...Bless my mother for trying to give me her bit of knowledge with food and weight loss....She was just telling me to do situps every chance I get....well my reply was...well ma I can do situps til' the cows come home, but unless I shed some fat on my belly there really isn't a point in just focusing on one part of the body....ok that led to 30 minutes of how she knows these things and yada yada yada...I love her to bits but sometimes her know it all advice really frustrates me....she can barely speak english so they way she explains it is kinda cute and funny...oh bless her for trying I suppose!! Ok venting done!

Its freakin' cold outside! I really don't want to go out there to walk...but I need to do at least a 1.5 miles...it looks like its going to rain, so I better get my bum out there while its not raining....

Alrighty....let's see...I did go for my walk...but sadly I only went 1.5 miles today, I tried to compensate that by doing a core workout for 30 minutes....so my exercise wasn't a complete waste.....

Lunch-3 egg whites and one regular egg scrambled with little onions and spinch
bowl of Kelp soup....yes I said seaweed soup....(its actually good and low in calories and fat)

that is it for now....I am off my Pathophysiology class...ughhh! I will update my snack and dinner when I get back home....

Ahhh...Saturday...lots of rain here...but whats new...it's Washington!!

I went out and bought couple of DVD's to workout to today...just to mix up my workouts so I don't get so bored! I bought Tae-bo flex/cardio...it's definitely a good workout video...and a kickboxing video...we shall see how that will work out....

I didn't do too much as in exercise today....

40 minutes of Tae-Bo
Walked with my kids around the block

I'll do another session of Tae-bo tonight...

Breakfast-1 reduced calorie wheat bread....with slice of chicken lunch meat and 1 slice of cheese melted

Snack-kudo's

Lunch-2 slices of reduced calorie wheat bread with 2 slices of chicken lunch meat...little bit of mustard...slice of cheese...and about 10 cranberries

Snack-Banana

Dinner-This is where I probably blew it...lol Had dinner with my mom...*sigh*
Romaine lettuce with spicy pork (I couldn't tell you how many ounces...I wasn't keeping track to be honest....I knew my limit tho) about 1 cup of rice

I probably had only 60 oz of water...not too good!!! Tomorrow will be better! I'm thinking of doing a meal plan like a week ahead so I know what I will eat and such, to make it a little easier for myself....

well that is all until tomorrow!!
 
Ugh...today I got a phone call from my ex-he just informed me that he will be in town for a week...March 2 thru the 9th...happy happy joy joy..NOT! I am so not happy about that...I have to just keep thinking that he is here to see the kids...and he decided to come on our sons TKD tournament that he is having in Oregon, so that basically means that I will seein his lying mug for the weekend....oh god help me!!! RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Ok, enough about him....!!!!

I'm proud of myself today...my son and I decided to go to the track and jog...yes I tried to jog today...and I jogged/walked 3 miles...I would jog a lap then walk then jog more and so on....It felt great!!! I can't wait until I can work my self up to 3 miles of jogging!!! My son lapped me...haha he ran 2.5 miles without stopping....that is my goal by summer is to run 2 miles without stopping....at a decent pace....!!

so for my food run-down:

pre-workout snack: half banana with peanut butter

Breakfast-spinich/onion/green onion/cheese omelette

Snack-boiled egg

Lunch-south beach diet cereal bar

Snack-2 slices of chicken lunch meat with slice of cheese
1 trisket dipped in black olive hummus

and for dinner I plan on eating a chef salad with cranberries and soup and yogurt as a last snack of day!

I promised myself that I would do the core workout tonight...another half hour of workout

well until tomorrow
 
Way to go! Keep up at the track, and you'll be running those 2 miles before you know it!

I hope this weekend is the best it can be with the ex coming into town!

Today, is Monday...lol Not too much really...I am sore today from tryin' to jog yesterday...I didn't do a lot of exercise today...I only walked 1.5 miles that is about it...I didn't want to push myself too much...since I usually try and work out 7 days a week....I need a rest!

Breakfast-One banana with 1 tablespoon of reduced fat peanut butter-189 calories

Snack-Dannon fit yogurt-45 calories

pre walk meal: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1 cup of diced pineapple-164 calories

Lunch-3 egg whites and 1 egg/spinich/cheese/omellet and 1 cup of broccoli-310 calories

and then I'm planning on taking to class:

Snack-baby raw carrots/Dannon fit yogurt-80 calories

Dinner-3 egg whites 1 egg omellet with spinch/cheese-270 cals
1/2 cup of pineapple and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese-164 calories

So far I have had only 40oz of water...I will drink at least 32 more ounces or more throught out the day....so that is basically it!

Total Calories-1222 not too bad!
Exercise 30 minute walk

Another day...I haven't exercised yet...I wanted to go outside for a jog/walk but its snowing/rain?! What's that about....I can't wait for the nice weather!! So instead I will do my Tae-bo video...

Which means I have to be extra good for my dinner and snack....lol

I decided to get on the scale this morning...just thinkin' what the hell I'm in the bathroom why not just get on...haha well I can't believe that I had lost a nother 1.5 pounds...making it 20 pounds of weight loss since I've started! I'm so happy!! It's been a challenge but well worth it!

So far what I have had this morning:

Breakfast-1/2 cup of cut up pineapple-70 cals
3 slices of chicken lunch meat-45 cals
1 applestroodle bread-170 cals
total-285 cals

I need to keep better track of my calories today...I have been slackin' a bit...so hopefully I won't take a detour again...lol
that is it for now...I will be working out in a little bit...I'll update this before class...

I went shopping today, and I got into size 16/14 at old navy...size 18's are so big...I'm happy about that....Katie in my Patho class said that I look slim...kinda caught me off guard...people are starting to notice...20 pounds later...lol

Today has been kinda stressful! My ex is flying in tomorrow and we are then driving to Portland Oregon for our son's Tae kwon Do tournament on saturday...I haven't seen him in 3 years...nor has our children, I'm kind of nervous about that....my daughter is now 5 and the last time she saw her dad was when she was 2...she asked tonight what her dad looked like...kind of made me sad...wish I had a bowl of ice cream and not think about it....I'll be honest and say that I'm an emotional wreck!

I only walked 1.5 miles today with my mom...not too good on the exercise department....nor in the drinking water department! I probably only had 50 or 60 ounces today....

Breakfast-applestroodle bread
3 slices of chicken lunch meat
1/2 cup of pineapple

Snack-Banana

Lunch-2/3 cup of barley and brown rice mixed together
bowl of cabbage soup-Asian style-spicy

I won't be able to post on the weekend since I will be away...but I promise that I will be good and watch what goes in my mouth!!

50 or 60 oz is alot of water in my book!! Congrats on getting in those size 16's!!! Must feel great!!!
