Hi Everyone
I'm Kate.
I've been on this forum before, many times.
My first time, Many years ago was awesome, I was totally in the zone and posted every day, it became my life and I got down to the weight I wanted (even though I still felt fat) and even took up running and ran a half marathon............then it all went to shite!! I've tried on other occasions to start again and have failed over and over again and am back to my original (if not a bit higher) and don't do any exercise.
Over these years I have kept in touch with Cate a bit and due to that amazing woman I am going to give it another go. So, here I am. I'm back to work tomorrow and I've got a 'Nutribullet' for Christmas (well, I bought it for us from our son lol) and I've made my breakfast and lunch 'smoothie' for tomorrow too so ready to try and kick arse. I help out at Weight Watchers on a Tuesday evening so I will weigh then
and face the carnage that Christmas has caused, draw a line under it and move forward. I will measure myself when I get back too.
My other half, Mark, is going on about entering me into the Great South Run, which is a 10 mile race at the end of October. I did it back when I was slim and super fit and loved it so I actually really want to do it
He keeps telling me I should start running again as that was when I was my happiest with myself.
Don't get me wrong, I was only slim and fit for about 6 months, the rest of my life I have been anything from a size 16 to a size 22 (uk sizes) at the moment I'm just about fitting into 18.
So, wish me luck.
