10 days is NOT a big deal Kal-el. You've been phenomenal with the jump rope, but maybe it isn't sustainable in the long term to do so much so often of one thing? Some variety would make it easier to stick with it I would think. It's not that you don't have the physical capability because you have proven that you do. It's that you want to make it easy to maintain a regular habit of exercise. I run most days and I'm fine with that, but I mix it up with easy and hard day and long and short runs. I also have plans to implement other activities if I get bored or feel stuck. It's yoga and weight lifting for me, but it can be whatever. Rest is just as important to progress as the work. I think taking breaks and mixing it up will help you out. Good luck!
Kal-El it's obvious that you have an amazing dedication and willpower, but (In my opinion), it seems that you are pushing yourself too hard and getting burnt out.
Have you thought about mixing the jump rope with another low impact (doesn't necessarily mean low intensity) exercise? It would give you some rest and would also give your joints some time to recover.
This is just a suggestion but please consider it!
Take care and the best of luck to you.
Kal-El said:okay, after a long gap am about to restart the same jumping, i will try and throw in another low impact stuff in combination with this. Thanks for pitching in your ideas. Last time I thought of mixing it with body weights. I couldn't do that. I have to figure something out, that fits with my way of going about working out.
