Kaitie's Open Diary

Wishes: As much as drummers annoy the crap out of me (oh my heck I wanted to strangle them yesterday) you are so right....without the drummers the band just doesn't sound right.

Hi Katie! just doing an ol' stop by. Your excersizes look great. Now that you have all those drums I bet the administration is going to be falling all over itself to find a soundproof classroom for you...lol. Can you have them practice marching and drumming while walking the halls near the main office?

*dances*

Size 12!!! Holy freakin' mole I'm a size 12!!! I went to Dress Barn just now to see how far away I was from fitting a size 12 and I received a most pleasent surprise---I totally fit a size 12! I'm out of the teens forever! Yippee!!! Now, my boobs still prevent me from wearing anything but a XL but I ordered a new bra (which incidently is 4 sizes smaller than the one I'm wearing now) and hopefully that will help on my top half--gotta get the girls in the proper position before I can really judge. But anyway, I'm so happy!!! I know this is going to sound ridiculous but I have these pair of Jordache jeans that I used to wear when I was a teenager, they're a size 10...and me being the dork that I am have kept them for the past 20 years--now don't worry I won't wear them in public but I can't wait to see myself back into those size 10's!
Holy cow, if I keep this up I should be a size 10 by Christmas!

*dances some more*

Whooooohoooooooooooo congrats on the 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a couple of pairs of jeans that I bought at TJ Maxx that I havent taken back... they were way small... I am hoping to fit into them soon too!...

You are slim and trim!!!!!!!!

Also, way cool on the band. I played the flute in Jr. High, and was in the drill team in High School. I LOVED performing on the football field. Such a high!

Holy moly! Thats fantastic! Keep up the great work

PS. i used to have jordache jeans also lol - they were the shit back in the day ... :D

ok, your a size 12 and I couldn't be happier but we can't let you weasel out of a fresh pic for this momentous occasion.

seriously, major congrats Kaitie !!

::hums the jordass theme song: who's got the look, the jordache look...

well done missy.. size 12... that's an incredible achievement :D

Thanks everybody!

I seriously never thought I'd not be in the teens so my surprise yesterday was a welcome one! On a side note, the cheaper the store the more the sizes vary---so my size 12 achievement is so far only true at Dress Barn and not Target. I swear when I went to Target today to buy a 'cheap' pair of pants I felt like a freakin' cow trying to squeeze my gut into their clothes! So the moral of the story is this: Not all 12's are made equal. :)

We had a Thanksgiving Feast for our staff meeting today and I did pretty well. I skipped lunch to try and save up on some calories. I made a lasagna, which was completely gone (yeah!). All in all, desserts included I had about 600 calories worth of stuff.

Exercises for today:

5.25 miles (150 calories)
100 sit-ups
75 abductions
60 adductions
30 calve things

Guess I should have done a little more. :)

*high fives* size 12 in any place is cool girl!!!!! and i have a pair of pants form high school too a size 8 i wanna fit into thoes suckers so bad.......just to see ya know!!!!!! but good job girley!!!!! STAR

So the chorus teacher is making what I feel to be a huge mistake. She had a run in with the principal about the number of songs she's doing in the concert---2. A very small number and I tried to tell her months ago but she wouldn't listen...but anyway now the principal is telling her she has to do at least 4 to make it worth while for these parents to take off of work and come to the concert, and I can completely see her point but anyway. The chorus teacher is in a freakin' tizzy and being completely unprofessional with the principal so after I got an earful from the chorus teacher I went upstairs to clarify the expectations for the concert and then I told the chorus teacher who just doesn't seem to get it. She always says how flexible she is and she is so not flexible it's not even funny. So I told her outright that she's a non-tenured teacher and that she has to watch her ass...our principal is known for outing people who she doesn't thinks fits in the school and do you think she took that into consideration? Of course not. How hard is it to put together 2 more freakin' songs---come on anyone can pull that out of their ass. 2 simple songs, I even gave her suggestions but she is dead set against adding to the show. Uh-oh here she comes! BYE!

Well, she completely broke down. Of course she brought it on herself. I find that my life goes a lot easier if I just do what I'm told---even if I can't freakin' stand it, just suck it up and do it. I think she's finally resigned to the fact that she has to do at least one more song but she definately took the hard road to come to that conclusion. I'm just glad it wasn't me.

Exercises for today:
6.2 miles on the bike (176 calories)
300 sit-ups! Wahoo!
100 lower back
60 leg presses
60 lawn mowers (idk, it's like your starting a lawn mower)
30 overhead presses

My 5 random Facts:

1. I'm a huge Harry Potter Fan--HUGE!
2. I'm a control freak--major control freak.
3. I sing directions to people. 'Turn left here' Hahaha! (it drives John crazy)
4. I have 4 cats, a dog, and a husband. :)
5. John and I renovate our house with our own 4 hands. We're doing the floors over Christmas break.

Hey Kaitie. I'm glad to see you doing so well. I know what you mean about that colleague. Some of mine just love to keep shooting themselves in the foot too.
