Kaitie's Open Diary

Hi Kaitie thanx for sharing your facts...a major control freak and you admit it...LOL...most control freaks I know arent control freaks ya know, LOL...good for the two of you on renovating your house, it is such a geat accomplishment isnt it...Oh and i know i just have htis vision in my head of those shoes of yours trying to start the lawn mower...LOL

"I sing directions to people."
hahahaha oh thats classic :D

i know a guy who pretends hes in a race car and has a hand out in front and moving it side to side for corners yelling stuff like "HARD LEFT!" etc

LOL, that's hilarious!

Today was fine, I bought a pair of size 12 jeans and a size Large thin jacket--It's my show off outfit for Thanksgiving tomorrow! I weighed in today at 169 WAHOO!! Here's hoping I don't ever see the 170's again!

Exercises for today:

5 miles on the bike (150 calories)
200 sit-ups--weehee!
50 sitting row
100 abductions
60 adductions

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! :)

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

*gobble gobble*

John and I went to the gym this morning and crazy enough---it was packed! I totally thought that it'd be a ghost town.

I just rode 10.5 miles on the bike which came out to 300 calories.

Our Thanksgiving was good, the food was yummy and that piece of chocolate cake was super yummy!

John and I didn't look at Turkey day as a food bonanza, it was just another meal and we ate until we were full and allowed ourselves a treat--it was all good.

John was telling me how this one lady at his school was going to eat food she didn't like for breakfast and lunch just to try and keep herself from eating to much for dinner---seems like a ridiculous notion. Do you really lack that much self control that you have to fill yourself up on rice cakes and diet soda to keep yourself from eating like a pig? And calories are calories, what's the difference between 400 calories of rice cakes and 400 calories of yummy turkey and veggies? I don't get it, she's setting herself up to fail.

haha, that is silly. Add me to the "I don't get it" list too.

I'm glad you two made it through the day with no collateral damages.

Well done !!

Mmmm...chocolate cake....Abba made a little one in her Easybake oven the other day and I had a taste. Wonderful. :D

Hey Kaitie :)
Glad your Thanksgiving is good. Yeah, I don't understand how people can lack that much self control. I mean, I know its hard, I've been there, but its really a simple choice.
You're doing great, hope all is well. :)

Hey everyone!

Today was good, we bought a new Christmas tree (7 ft)--it's the biggest tree I've ever had...it looks purdy. :) We actually need more ornaments, the back of the tree is completely naked! (oh!)

The couch broke, the $1500 couch that we haven't even begun payments on yet that is. So tomorrow John will be fixing it. I knew it wasn't going to last with John sleeping on it every freakin' night. Yes, he sleeps in the bed for a few hours and then he gets up and goes to the couch--he says the bed hurts his back but I know it's his weight. So with 450 pounds sleeping on the couch for 7 hours a night it was bound to break. Grr...

Exercises for today:

2.5 miles on the bike (75 calories)
250 sit-ups
60 rotary torsos
100 leg presses
60 abductions
30 (on each leg) glute machine
30 chest presses
30 calve things

Tomorrow is weigh in day, I don't have high hopes of the scale saying the 169 I saw on Wednesday---I hope it does but you know how pesky scales can be. I really hope that John is close to 440. Last time he gained 3 pounds and was back to 451, so here's hoping. It looks like he's lost weight *crosses fingers* I did buy a pair of size 12 pants and a really nice suede jacket (size large) that I wore to Thanksgiving---and yes I totally dressed up to hear everyone say 'Wow, you look great!' My dad walked in and said 'Wow Kaitie, you've lost a lot weight--nice job' It felt good. :)

Awesome!! Good luck to you both tomorrow!

Good luck for the weigh in Kaitie :)

I must admit that I prefer sleeping on the couch (settee over here - I still chuckle at all our different words! lol). I just find it more comfortable

My grandma still calls her couch a "chesterfield". Not sure where that word comes from...maybe it's a prairie thing.
