Kaitie's Open Diary

 Wow...may I have one of those valium please? I'm really glad you were able to calm down a bit. *note to self: do NOT piss off Kaitie* Ok...I'm leaving now, is that ok? :p :D

Hello Katie,
Thata girl take all that anger out in exersiceing!! What
a way to make yourself feel better! Give it time out of the
blue that scale will take a downfall in #'s! I gotta feeling I
am going to need this same talk I snuck on today mine was
the same so thats what made me walk in the sprinkling rain!
I hope tomorrow is better for ya both people and weather wise!
Tammy:D

Oh you poor darling, I have a cow-orker just like that. I sit back - make a note in my 'journal of crap that annoys the hell out of me' and wait. Next time i get a visit with the boss i bring out the journal and act professional myself with a list of logged complaints of exactly what happened on what dates.

This way
a) i dont moan when im pisssed off (always makes a bad combo)
b) It looks professional and not whiny 'pick on xxx' type thing (you have valid claims etc)
b) people pay attention when they see all 20 things together rather than hear you moan 20 times individually :D

Anyway take care of yourself - wind down with a nice walk/run and long hot bath!

Sorry Kaitie, this week has been rather trying indeed...but on the upside, it's almost over. Tomorrow is Friday, just hold on a little longer. *hug*

Hello Katie,
Ringworm is so darn itchy! 1 of my girls
got that lastyear along with cooties at school! I know
it is a yucky feeling but you can't help it seems like the
cleanest people get stuff like that.
It just makes ya feel like "blah" nothing a little cream won't
cure.Hope your weekend is much much better! Tammy:)

Thankfully it's only a tiny little patch on my face--It's been there for two weeks, I had no idea what it was. It doesn't itch anymore, I must have scratched it to death. :)

Ringworm is so prevelant in urban schools---I don't know why but it always is. Yeah, hopefully this cream will do the trick.

Actually my sister is a nurse and she said that all the ickies (lice and other school nasties) really do like clean people because the bugs don't care for filth either. Her family is one of the cleanest I know and they got head lice every year while the kids were in elementary school.

Hope it clears up fast!

Oh Katie, I hope things turn around for you. I'm sure you can think of some vindictive stuff to do to teach your co worker a lesson. Like how about doing an entire class on proper instrument etiquette, how to store instruments, not knock them over, pick them up when you knock them over...blah blah blah...you get it. and find a way to make it manditory that she attends the class...lol!

10 years of teaching and 1 case of ringworm...not to bad.

I like your idea of an 'etiquette' lesson!!

Exercises for today:

4 miles on the bike (105 calories)
100 torso twists
100 sit-ups
60 adductions
60 abductions
30 sitting calf
30 bicep
60 sitting leg presses

John was taking a long time in the pool so I did extra weight lifting even though I did them yesterday.

I really hope that I'm just building muscle, it's very frustrating to be doing the 'right' things and not see the results on the scale. My body feels different but none of my new clothes are fitting differently--I was hoping that my new pants would fit better but not yet.

One of my English lessons for high schoolers is a 3-day etiquette lesson when we're doing our Victorian novel unit. I found that after the lesson my students change their manners enough to make my days a little more pleasant, and they treat each other with much more respect. I bet it'll work just as well on co-workers too:p .

I loose weight on the scale every single week, but sometimes you notice nothing for several weeks and then bang all of a sudden you suddenly are a heap smaller than you were the week before and can fit stuff a whole lot better.
On the other hand when i was injured on my bike i took 2 weeks off the exercise and because of the muscle build up i ended up burning heaps of cal still and lost weight without doing anything! :D

Hi Kaitie McGeee!! Just stopping by to say howdy & great workout as always! Good Luck @ weigh in tomorrow!!! :D:D

:) heyas Katie,
Hope ya knocked the little wiggle
wormy dead! Congrats once again on another successful
day of kick butt exercising! Have a Fantastic Friday Tammy

hi kaitie
wow, do keep up with the exercises... u r doing well! the pounds will surrender sooner or later! be patient! hv a great day!:)

Hello everyone! I hope y'all had a great day! Mine was good, nothing major happened today (well payday, that's a good thing!) I like the new Challenges thread...it was so confusing in the club with all the challenges going on... It's getting chilly here, ther was frost on the windshield this morning and I got to wear my cool white jacket!

Exercises for the day:

7 miles on the bike (200 calories)
150 sit-ups
60 abductions
30 adductions
30 lower back

I wasn't going to do any weight lifting today but I figured heck I have to wait 20 more minutes for John I might as well do something--right? :) I need to rest my muscles though, it's going to do nothing if I don't let them rest.

Tomorrow John and I go to weigh in at GNC (they have the only scale around that goes high enough for his weight) and I hope that something has actually happened with my body...I'm seriously frustrated that I can't get an accurate reading on my scale or the scale at the gym. John says that my muscles are building up and that's why I haven't moved but who wants to hear that. I just want to see the numbers on the scale move down and down and down. I totally thought that I'd be at 175 by now, actually a little passed it--this stagnation is disheartening.

I'm doing a little scrapbooking club after school on Monday...15 people signed up to come!! So I'll have to get organized tomorrow--should be fun. (I hope its fun!)
