You guys are doing great!! It really helps to put it in perspective, you two really haven't been at this all that long, and look at how MUCH you guys have accomplished!!
 
Wow thats pretty awesome. They say 2lb a week is a pretty safe loss. Good for John too - dont forget the before/after pics .. you will need them in a few months :)

Exercises for today:

5 miles on the bike (135 calories)
30 chest presses
100 sit-ups

I was lazy. :)
 
Oh my freakin' gosh she makes my f-in blood boil! She knocks over my trombone, LEAVES it there, lines the kids and up and they proceed to kick it on the way out. I f-in flipped on her and yelled at her to pick it up. What the hell kind of professional are you to knock over my stuff and then kick it like its a piece of shit.

GRRRR!!
 
Sometimes I take Valiums after reading your diary - but it's a good thing :)

Ok, so shortly after the kids left she apologized---but still it is really annoying that she knocked it over and didn't have the courtesy to admit her mistake and fix it while the kids were watching. What kind of adult makes an obvious mistake and with a classroom full of children watching doesn't correct their mistake. I guess I'm still a little pissed off about it--I definately have a problem letting things go.

*hands T2 a valium* Sorry, I've got a wicked temper.

Other than that the day went well, I'm still stuck--haven't seen that glorious number 179 since I saw it two weeks ago. I'm sure TOM is intereferring but it's really starting to get on my nerves.

It is freakin' pouring outside!

Exercises for today:

150 sit-ups
150 torso twists (I had to stop and go back because there was a perve next to me watching my chest as I was twisting---freaked me out. I imagine if he was cute I wouldn't have minded as much) ;)
4 miles on the bike (110 calories)
60 leg lifts
60 leg presses
60 adductions
60 abductions
60 sitting row
45 lower back
30 bicep curls

I doubled all the weight lifting reps to hopefully kick my body back into losing mode. Hope it works.

I have a question---I'm not a big sweater....is that ok? Should I exercise until I'm sweating to death? I do the cardio and only sweat a little bit but my legs feel like jelly when I'm done....should I do more? Even when I did the elliptical machine I didn't sweat a bunch. Am I doing something wrong?
 
Some people just sweat more than other - I'm not much of a sweater either. I get dewy but nothing too dramatic. :D

Glad your day picked up. And I have to agree, with kids watching - there's always an opportunity to teach kindness & respect. Some people just don't get it.

I'm so glad she apologized, but it doesn't mean much if the kids didn't hear it. Some adults have a problem with letting kids know they made a mistake:mad:
