You were the first to reply on my new thread...I was seeking motivation and I found it looking at your pictures. The happiness that is apparent on anyones face after losing some weight is great motivation...so thank you for the pictures.

Oh WOW Katie! You look fabulous! I love that white coat, you look so hip in it. Everybody was probably doing a double take on you at school because they mis took you as a kid instead of a teacher! Now, those pics are pure inspiration.
 
On a side note: I don't know if its the new clothes or the fact that they are noticing that I'm not a blob anymore but everyone (teachers) I've passed today have given me a double take. That's a yummy feeling!

It's probably both your appearance and your new clothes, but what I find the big difference in me is my attitude/confidence. You walk taller, keep your head up more, smile more, etc.:)
 
Today was good, I did a double dose of cardio today--I'm pooped!

160 calories on elliptical
100 calories on stationary bike
100 sit-ups
150 torso twists
30 standing calf exercises (owwee)
30 chest presses
10 bicep curls

At the moment I'm watching X-Men III with my hubby...obviously I'm not to interested in it. :)
 
Holy full moon batman---the kids were freakin' ridiculous today and they were driving me insane. The violins were freakin' screachy nightmares and my drums, oy vey....you'd think they were all ADHD today. I'm just in a fully state of 'leave me the hell alone'.
 
Ok, just got back from playing at the gym--hopefully my annoyance has been burned off!

Exercises:

5.5 miles on the bike (180 calories)
150 sit-ups
60 sitting rows
30 lower back
30 leg presses
30 leg lifts
30 abductions
30 adductions
30 lawn mower pulls (I don't know what they're called, you put one knee on a pad and pull a weight up to your ribs, it works your back)


No torso twists today! :eek:
 
I think it's working more than you know! I didn't lose weight for the longest time and I felt I was exercising myself to death! Then all the sudden it dropped off, all at once!!
 
LOL! I just want this freakin' weight to come off faster....it's not working.

we all do. when I look at my weight and look at 1-2 pounds a week. Thats a lot of weeks lol.......
your fine just keep up what your doing.

Your exersices wore me out I broke a sweat just
reading! Congrats on the hard work.Your weight is dropping just
look at the scale, plus your probally actually starting to tone and
lose inches! Do you measure? I heard if the scale slows start
measuring and you'll se a big difference.Have a Gr8 Thursday!

Well today was fine...one more day till the weekend. :) I don't think I'm going to see an weight loss this week...it must be dari's turn. :)

Exercises for today:

5 miles on the bike (135 calories)
150 torso twists
100 sit-ups (boy I felt them today!)
30 chest presses
40 overhead presses

hmm...that seems kind of light. *shrug*
