Heehee about MC Hammer pants...I feel like that's how they look--does that make sense?

I just want to alert everyone about 'Subway' sandwiches. Here I thought I was eating a great meal and it turns out it's got 1290 mg's of sodium!!! Holy crap!!! Who cares about 190 calories when the sodium is through the roof! Just thought I'd tell everyone that Subway says they have all these great foods but watch out for the sodium! So I probably won't lose anything this week b/c of that!!

Exercises today went well:

4 miles on the bike
150 sit-ups
150 torso twists

I spent most of the day on my butt so it felt good to move my legs!
 
Who couldn't agree that the Subway/Jared stratagem was the most successful mover of processed food in fast food history.

Jared could've eaten Alpo and as long as he walked his 4 miles a day, he was bound to lose weight. The man used mad determination and cleverly feathered in convienence and hit the weight loss lottery. Mad props to Jared for a job well done and using a company that would make him a millionaire for eating garbage.

I want to do for Chinese food what Jarod does for Subway. A cup of Chicken Chow Mein has a ridiculous number like 90 calories and I wind up eating it twice or three times a week. I hope you had a great first day of school!
 
Hi Kaitie, just stopping by. Thanks for the Subway info. I eat there rarely, and think that by telling them no mayo, or minimal dressing that I'm doing well. Sodium is a silent diet snafu in my book. Keep up the great job with your weight loss. Hope school is going well.

School was ok....I'd like to know how we're going to function tomorrow when the principal hasn't given us our schedules---yep, no idea what I'm teaching tomorrow...isn't that fantastic? Surprise!

Todays exercises:

2.5 miles on the bike
.5 mile walking
150 sit-ups
150 torso twists
60 compound row
30 chest presses
30 overhead presses
30 bicep curls

How long will it take my body to get rid of all that sodium I put in it the other day?
 
OMG I eat the Subway turkey wrap atleast once a week. I am going to have to check this out! You know, I never check the sodium content. Why is that so important?

Ive been trying to tell people that about subway for years. I cant say i ever really liked it. I mean why go to subway and order some 'roast chicken' which is just oversized nuggets when you can go buy the real deal at the supermarket and it would taste 100x better.
I suppose if you were in a hurry and took out the mayo and sauces etc and all the other crapola you could get it - but the same goes for McDonalds (and i still eat there semi regularly and keep my diet fine).
 
Hey! School was alright...I'm a little wary about my depressing new music collegue but we'll have to see.

Sodium makes you retain water...so the more you take in the more water you hold which makes you heavier. :(

OMG I freakin' can't stand my new collegue already. She is the general music teacher and she's all pissy b/c she has to teach some classes on a cart...what she really flippin wants is to push me out of my room. I'm trying to be patient but I'll be flippin damned if I'm going to let her take over my room.

And Cannon you'll appreciate the this: The entire school has started the school year without a schedule. Yes, not one teacher knew what they were teaching, who they were teaching, or at what time they were teaching any of the students today. I was handed a post-it note telling me that I was teaching so and so today. Absolutely ridiculous. She should be fired. How can you call yourself an administrator and you can't even get a schedule together? It's appalling. So I had to pull lessons out of my ass today--completely ridiculous.

I forgot my lunch and went to Wendy's...I so wanted a freakin' Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a soda....OMG did I want it. I got a salad and a small chili instead.

I'm just...I can't even describe my feelings at this moment in time. Grr.

Ok so I figured out why I've been a grumpy old complainer for the last couple of days---TOM is week early. Oh yippee.

I wrote my boss (twice actually) about the schedule situation and she said we could meet tomorrow, which leaves me with an ominous feeling because why couldn't she just say 'don't worry kaitie, it's all handled' Hmmm....I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I so just want to shove a greasy bacon cheeseburger, fries with ketchup, a gallon of soda and a dairy queen chocolate blizzard with reese's peanut butter cups down my throat!!!!

And (as this goes with my grumpy TOM mood) I didn't want to exercise at all today. Not one single iota. But I went and since my mind was trying really hard to calm down and let go of the schedule worries I did 4 miles instead of 3. I need to be distracted everyday huh! I did my situps and torso twists as well and can only hope that in two weeks I'll have dropped all that sodium and the TOM factor so I can see some good results.

I'll to put on my plaster happy face tomorrow.
 
go to the mall and just bump into people.. you'll feel better :) nothin' like a little pretend slam dancing to work out some aggression.. while you're at it - give some annoying people flat tires that are walking too slow.. ya know where you step on the back of their show :D

(i'm not really hostile... oh wait -yes i am :D

listen to F*&^ing Hostile by Pantera a few times.. that is really good for aggression :D
