Here goes nothing.... I am currently 150 lbs. While to some people that is a goal, for me it is scary. I have four children and I owe it to them to reach my goal of 120-125. When I am at my goal weight, I am a MUCH happier person. I like the way I look there, not now.
During the week I do good at staying to the three meals and two snacks. I am trying to stay between 1500-1700 calories a day. I drink minimum 80 oz of water Mon-Fri. Weekends are tougher. Today it is almost one, and I've had no water even tho I got up at nine.
My lunch was healthy. I had a wholewheat pita with spinach, sprouts, turkey, swiss cheese, and a touch of Italian dressing.
I didn't work-out though. I am one of those people that needs to roll out of bed and exercise. During the week I get up at 4:30 for 45 min-1 hour of cardio of weights. I will fit in a quick session after the pool.
Alcohol is my other problem. I don't drink excessively, just 3 drinks or so a night. I have cut that back to one glass of wine or Dt Coke with Malibu (50 calories). I feel like I need that after I get all of the kids down at night.
So, here's my diary. I hope you check in from time to time, drop word of encouragement. If you have any meal ideas that will keep me on my diet, that the kids will eat, and will still satisfy the man in my life, please let me know!
