I should have posted in here sooner I have enjoyed reading your posts. I just got through posting my own let down on my thread about having a bad day yesterday myself and then I see that you are working through a little gain yourself. But it looks like you have got a handle on it now.Good job dude!

Thanks Brawny. I am not too down on myself... I did what my friend NEEDED me to do.... yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!! ;) :D

This week has been spot on, like 99.9% of them have been! Hope your turn around goes well too! Have good ones.

You are absolutely right Bunny!!! Thanks!! :) I too am stepping it up this week... things are going great, and it's only Tuesday!! This was my first gain since I started, so I just got a bit freaked out :eek2:

I hate to say it but you and I may be people who can't drink. I want to cry as I write that. I love drinking! Great job with turning something like 2 lbs into a positive! I wish I could be like you!!!!!!! ALRIGHT. CHIN UP. LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!

Just checkin up on ya JZ, the bad couple of days was just a blip for ya, your over it now and powering onwards towards ya goal. Keep rocking those workouts :)
 
Monday- Great AM Upperbody workout!! 10 on the scale... it's been too long!!

Eating - spot on and back to routine!

Tuesday- AM Cardio... Jumprope... 3,840 jumps! PB! Followed that with 20 minutes on the heavybag. SWEAT ANGEL CENTRAL!! Great workout... 10!! That's two in a row.

Eating- Spectacular!

Wednesday - Not done with the day, but will post now because it's in the bag already! AM lowerbody workout.. 12m6sec wall sit followed by circuit routine... 10!! That's 3!!!

Eating- No issue... routine and GOOD!!
 
3,840 jumps? I'd die before I hit 200!

Do you actually count the jumps or do you have one of those things [name slips my mind] that counts them for you? [I've always wondered considering Trops(right?) does it too]
 
I have a counting rope. I tried counting in my head, but damn, that was hard. Plus, I like to crank my music, so the rope has been great! Trops jumps like a madman too, and he has a counting rope now, but still counts in his head too! I'd get stumped after I got to four digits... I really like my rope!
 
Great job this week, especially with the eating coming second nature for you. Looking good!

So, from Rubber cement, I dropped down to Elmers glue... from Elmers, I dropped down to the sticky stuff on envelopes... from the envelopes, I dropped down to the adhesive on the back of post-its... and I'm happy to report, after the trechorous battle and ten years... I am glue sniffing free!! Maybe it will work for you *twitch, twitch* ;) :D :D

Hey Lux!! I had a mild set back last week, but moved right on and got back to routine.... which is the answer to how I stay "good" on eating and working out... I've made it ROUTINE, just who I am. That has been my BEST acheivement of my new healthy lifestyle!! You too are on that path to make it just part of you... once that happens, it's only a matter of time till you reach your goals!! Thanks for dropping in and making the thread page a lot better to look at! :) :) Have good ones. :)

Thanks Ivette! The rope is kick ass... so are you! Have a great weekend! :) You can get a counting rope on-line, or from your local sports store. Mine was about $30.00.
 
Blah!!!

I'm not in a slump or anything... I'm back in the groove so to speak, but I really feel like I would get MORE out of the healthy lifestyle if I had something I was shooting for. Kinda like Cabbie training for the biking, or Steve and his adventure... I'd get even more PUMPED up if I had something like that to shoot at. I need to do some heavy thinking! I'd love to do Boxing, or MMA, but have no time to go to a gym... and I'd have no idea how or what to train for something like that at my HOME gym.... I ride bike as well, but for me, right now, that's not going to get me psyched up. I want to be DRIVEN!! Maybe I should just schedule a KIDLESS vacation sometime, and plan some sort of hiking, or something...
 
The driven part is always the hardest part. Maybe put a picture of somewhere you would like to be if you reach a goal. When you reach a goal of yours, GO THERE!

My goal is this dress I bought a few months ago. GORGEOUS dress. You're a man, so you wouldn't get it, but it is a Max Azria dress that looks like a tall glass of water. I love clothes..anyways off topic, BUT aim for a goal and GET IT.

FIND YOUR GOAL!
 
I think goals are important. (short term & long term)..when I set a goal for myself for the week i seem to do better....sometimes when I am on the treadmill I imagine the weight is dripping off me as I sweat...and this new skinnier/sexier me is developing....i can picture myself lighter and lighter.

Right now I want to drop 10 more pounds in the next month for Ice Show..since I am putting a damn costume on again...I told the kids last night..thats it..this is it...I am never doing this again!!!!
