Hello!! Just thought I would drop by and wish you a very belated Merry Christmas. I hope you and your kiddos had a good one!! I hope you are feeling better and are able to get back to it!! Holidays have a knack of throwing people off kilter but it's good to hear that it wasn't just crap food. Shows how you have changed. You say you have far to go but you will get there. Without struggle victory doesn't mean as much and when you get to where you want to be and you look back you will be amazed at how far you have gone. Already you have done so well!
 
Remember - the more fun you have, the easier it will be. And, I am all about a reward system - 5 more pounds, you get a new suit, 10 more pounds, you get _____, 20 more pounds you get to go on vacation =D

Very good points Erin! I do have fun with training... can't wait to jump back into it FULL THROTTLE!! Vacation aye??? I forget what those are! :D ;) :)

MISHI!!! Howdy! Thanks for droppin' in... my journal NEEDS the "CHEESE"! ;) :D :D Thanks, and very good points, especially the without struggle bit. ABSOLUTELY TRUE! Great things are worth fighting for, even if it's random life events to be dealt with!
 
Hey, I'm new to the forum, but can totally comprehend the "herd animal" sentiment. Been grazing all week long myself and feel like crap. But it is great that you have come far enough in developing new habits that you DO feel like crap when you are off-routine. That is a real sign that the changes you've made are becoming part of you.
Congrats! You will be back on it in no time.

This is a tough time of year to stay on track. We get bogged down with visitors, it's tough to pick up the gym bag and leave guests to their own devices, and there is a lot of food preparation going on, too :D

Only the most anal of us will still be sticking to our workout and diet. It's been really tough for me this year to stay on track. OK. I'll be honest. I haven't had a workout for 8 days now. I've only done rehab :p

Thanks muscle. I'm glad to say that it was just being sick that kept me from the gym!! I guess you could lump me into the anal group!!! :D :D I'm on the tail end, all antibiotic is taken.... tomorrow.... I droppin' the hammer!!!!!!!!
 
Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FRICKIN' GREAT!!!!! I am back, and it feels great!!!! Up a bit late last night, but still managed to drag my sleepy ass out of bed and PUT IN THE WORK!!! Upper body workout.... KICK ASS!! I performed my routine three times as a circuit... 66 minutes.... I felt great!! SWEAT ANGEL CENTRAL!!!! Damn it felt great to get back in my gym! I coughed a bit at the end, but it was all "loose" and light. Sorry if that's gross to any of ya! :D Eating... STRAIGHT!!!! I had the usual, but for dinner, I literally had a heaping plate of green beans, wax beans, carrots, and squash!! Terrific day, and I am extatic for the coming new year!!! That's a great big, fat 10 for the day!!! Tomorrow.,.. AM cardio.... Jump Rope with the COUNTING ROPE, and 30 minutes on the heavy bag... I'm pumped!!
 
You got a counting rope? Very cool. Let me know how it works out?

very nice on the return to the gym, by the way. :hurray:

Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DAY 2 of BACK IN THE SADDLE!!

Woke up, grawgy, but went to work! 3,124 jumps in 44 minutes! Trops, get the counting rope... It's awesome!! Then, 30 minutes on the heavy bag!! Check, and Check! 10 on the JZ scale! That's two in a row!! It's a first!

High on good feelings the rest of the day!! I am GEEKED to be feeling better and back at it!!

Eating... Superb!!! All in all, another near perfect day!
