Catchin' up!!

Tuesday - AM Cardio. I did HIIT session on my elliptical. Killer!(9.0 on the scale( :) Ate extremely well, generally a great day!

Wednesday - Upper body workout. After the sweet bench last week, I performed my upperbody workout as a circuit. Really intense, and actually quite a good cardio session as well. Another solid 9.0! :)

I ate clean and plentiful. All proteins in, and under calories by 72! Another great day!

Thursday (Thanksgiving) - Am Cardio... jump rope for 37 minutes at break my frickin' neck speed!!! Damn, that must be a funny ass sight!!! Followed that up with 25 on the heavy bag! Focuced quite a bit on feet work and dip and weaves... another nice workout... I was soaked!! I laid down on my workout mat and thought... I could make a sweat angel... you know, kinda like a snow angel, only disgusting! :D 9.6 on the scale. I am getting myself a counting jump rope for christmas, I have to know where I stand with catching Trops!! HA, like that will happen anytime soon! :smilielol5: Great workout!!!

Now, comes the eating.... let's just say a little to much of everything followed by a nice turkey sandwich around 7pm!! Hey, Thanksgiving only comes once a year... I can afford to loosen the rules for one day! I will, however, be doing a lower body workout + cardio in the morning!! Bring it on, JZ is ready!!

That's SUCH a cool idea about a counting rope! I should get one too! Sweat angels are the best. Sooo disgusting.
 
Nice workout, JZ. I haven't jumped rope in a couple weeks now. I tried it at the hotel last week, but the kids were there and they were playing on the treadmill and such and it wasn't the place for them, so we left. Other then that I think it's been two weeks. Damn, that'll get this fat ass in gear.

Thanks Trops. I really like that workout! I haven't said that about anything healthy in a while. I hear you on the kids in the wrong area thing... makes it a bit more challenging, but I know you'd take that trade anyday as well as I would!! Jump man jump! Are you thinking of going over 10,000? or are you going to try and speed it up? Probably not, you'd probably get airborn and stay there!:D

Thanks SARA. I just can't keep count first thing in the morning. :D Plus, I'm chasing Trops's 10,000.

I'm thinking about going over 10,000. I've done 10,500 +/- but I also think that last time when I changed up the running and the jumping did two things. One it kicked my ass as the best workout ever. The other thing is I think I pushed myself too hard. Hurt some of the old bones. I'm really thinking about doing a half marathon, and then possibly a full in a year or so. If I want to do that it's not just about conditioning, it's about being able to physically take that abuse without damaging something. I don't know if my body can really take it. I guess I'll find out.

How was your turkey day?

Turkey day was great. I ate a bit much, but I made up for it this morning! I lifted, and did cardio! I feel a lot better about yesterday... today.
 
Sure, but I got to be smart about it. I can't blow out a knee or something bushing it too hard.
 
Ha, that's what I get for trying to type on here with the boy climbing on me. :D

I guess bushing it too hard would be when you run so much that you just fall into the bushes in exhaustion.
 
Ewwwww, a Sweat Angel! I feel ya. you make me want to lift again, I've just been doing Yoga. FOR SHAME! Well, they're right about the Yoga-body. It kind of works, if you're not trying to be a body-builder *shrugs*

You have awesome workouts, but it doesn't seem like you had a big family get-together. Oh well! I'm sure you had a good time!

I had my kids until 330pm on Thanksgiving. We went to my mom and dads place in town, and had family and friends there. There was probably 35 people there... it was a good time. In the middle of it, I had to take the kiddos to my ex in-laws. My Ex worked, but could take an hour off to come eat dinner with them. It was weird to drop them off and not spend the whole day with them on the holiday. Even stranger was her parents had a place setting for me!! We get along great, and I think they are wonderful people, but staying would have been too uncomfortable. I went back to "my" family party and had a good time. Thanks for being interested. :)
