I'm really thinking about doing a half marathon, and then possibly a full in a year or so. If I want to do that it's not just about conditioning, it's about being able to physically take that abuse without damaging something. I don't know if my body can really take it. I guess I'll find out.

You can do it! Just be good to yourself with lots of stretching......maybe even some YOGA!!! :biggrinjester:
 
"Thanks for being interested"--LOL, just making sure you had a good time! yeah that sounds weird, but still, a nice thought. Exes and dealing with them can be quite awkward--course my meditations reveal to me loving kindness is the way to go, so *shrugs*

I'm sure you had great workouts and nutrition this weekend! :grouphug:
 
HAHA--it was just me in a bathing suit, I guess, that triggered the boy's interest :D He totally should be a Love Guru, he'd make a good one!
 
Weekend update

Sat and Sun... good clean eating days. Saturday I snuck in an elliptical workout while my kiddos were still sleeping. 38 minutes... pretty good workout. Sunday, same as last... lazy but fun filled day with my little ones!! All in all, a good Holiday weekend.

Official weigh in...
I lost Zero, zilch, nada, nicht, the big goose egg... 0!!!
It's ok, not going to let it get to me :D on to this frickin' week. I had good workouts, and ate mostly good, with the exception of a little access on Turkey Day, so another good week, and I should see the "results" on the scale!!

What you should be saying is "my weight gain this week after thanksgiving was ZERO"

Thats how most of us would look at it and to be honest, that may not be how you're wired most of the time, but c'mon, be human dude...

I am just SOOOOO wanting to get to where I'm going ya know! I'm not down persay.... just smackin' myself around a bit to really kick it hard this week!! Thanks for the different outlook. I'm trying to be realistic, but still challenge myself. As Bunny would say... Balance is the key... ohmmmmmmmm! ;) :D

I get you on just wanting to get where you're going, but then what? It isn't going to stop then is it, 'cuz that's how we end up back here again. I'm going to get there. I'll keep busting the work outs, and I'll be good about my eating habits, BUT, I'm not going to worry about a little gain over the holiday weekend. I'll have it gone again by the end of the week if I have anything to say about it... and I do!

When I get where I'm going, I'll set new and challenging goals! For one... Trops is going down!! 10,000 shmenthousand! :D second, I'm going for plus 100 club baby! Then, I'll focus on the vanity muscles. The six pack, the popeye forearms, anything else I can think of. I'll keep playin' hockey, play with my kids, and have a great outlook on life. Also, you are right, you will get there for sure. One step at a time!!

I almost don't wanna leave..

Maybe just confident instead of positive?!? I have my moments of doubt, only they don't last too long!

+100 club = people who can benchpress 100 pounds over there weight. (GGGRRRR!!!)
