You have inspired!

Heya JZ,

Just finished reading about your journey all the way back to day one. You have motivated me beyond belief. You have reminded me of the value of being accountable for your own efforts. I have had a second wind in my own program and like you, intend to keep a regular diary recording my food intake and workout sessions. That is such a good idea!

I have just set up my old weight bench (from better days) and we have a treadmill in the lounge. Looking forward to a session after I get off the computer!

Quick question: Are you following "Body For Life"? A lot of what you talk about has striking similarities. I used the BFL book 6 years ago and it helped me achieve and maintain a body for three years that I was truely proud of. Problem was I let it go bad and three years later I'm back where i started :( I've got the old BFL book out, dusted the cover and already have my upcoming week planned.

Anyhow, will be keeping a close eye on your daily progress as added inspiration :)

12 minute wall sit challenge huh? I'll have to get back to ya on that one. :leaving: Ha! Great job JZ! I wish you could bottle that determination you've got! I'd buy some! :seeya:

Yup, I was going to come up with some wiseass competititive garbage to throw back at you about the wall sit too JZ, 'til I tried it...:ack2:

I genuflect in your presence... for now...

First off, welcome to the forum and thanks for droppin' in!! Good news about your weight bench being used for something other than a clothes line (as mine had been for 7 years) :D ! Good idea to track everyday with a diary... keeps me accountable at least... hopefully you as well. I'll make it a point to drop in on you to see how you are progressing. As far as my program goes, it is a modified version of B4L, one that I CAN FOLLOW!! That's the key... It has to work for you!! I always thought it made sense and was a sound program that wasn't asking for too much time out of my usually hectic but good day. Good luck to you on your JOURNEY and LIFESTYLE CHANGE.

Thanks Paula!! :) I hope your day is going better than the last few, and that your hectic week is as well!!!

Day 18

AM Cardio... Jump rope and heavy bag!
Good workout, but will find alternative for Saturday, I need a break from the rope for a few days.

Breakfast - Smart Start in skim milk
Snack 1 - pine apple chunks, yogurt
lunch - tuna fish wrap, pearapple
snack 2 - R2DS
Dinner - chicken soft tacos (home made and healthy, not Taco Bell crap... even though I love Taco Bell)

Another good day!! This is getting EASIER!!! :hurray:

Christmas Challenge Weigh in

Well, weighed for my challenge, down another 2.4 pounds. That make 4 pounds in a week(from last Friday). Still very pleased with this loss!!! That's 19 pounds so far!!
