You're so enthusiastic, not even thinking about skipping exercise while you visit your parents. Your hard work really have to give results! Think you'll be in fantasic shape for your NY trip. Keep it up!!!

In my area, I'd have to travel 45min. to get to the nearest class.
There is a lady doing Zumba but she's doing it Tues. night, same time as my cardio and Thurs. morning when I go to SFL for my weigh in.......thinking on maybe changing my wi to Tues. but not 100% sure yet if I can.
There is also a belly dancing class but that is 45min. away too.
We have a gym in town but all it has is about 8pcs of equipment (for circut workout), there is no supervision, and it was $70 a month the last time I was there and someone said it had gone up...doesn't offer classes or any kind.
I'm keeping my ears open though.
Ouch! that gym sounds expensive. hmmm....it would be nice if they moved one of your classes...see what happens. have you thought of fitness dvd? there are so many good ones out! i used to do it when i didnt have a car - and lived way too far from the gym to go every day.

Awesome about planning ahead on exercises! I can't believe your trip is so close! Exciting! My family always tries to stuff me with food too. It's so crazy.
My mom always calls it a diet if I don't get more then 2 plates lol Eats lots of salad before the meal so you feel fuller but still have room for their fab food

I have 2 bbq's next month! We shall see if I fare well at them lol
i know i cant believe it s so close either!!! where has time gone?? Lol @ your mom...my parents are actually quite understanding and supporting...but the food lying around is just pure temptation!!! BBQs sound fun!! if you do some xtra excercize why not?
Way to go girl - keep the positive attitude going and plan ahead for your visit with your parents. You want to look and feel your best for all that shopping in NY!!!

Planning ahead is def the best plan for visiting people. Some times you just have to cut portions and make the best choices you can when your at someone elses.

So its time to step it up!!!!
Woooohooooo!!! My goal is to be able to fit into a US size 12 jeans!!!!
I havent been able to do this for about....6 years!!!
& i m soo close now...i perfectly fit in a size 14 now...that means my last day in NY in about 21 days i could go down a dress size....

You guys think its feasible?
Excercize routine for the day:
20 mins light walking
50 mins body sculpting class
5 min extra weight training between classes
50 mins belly dancing
I absolutely loved the body sculpting!! it nearly killed me but that s why i loved it.
Belly dancing...wasnt too keen today...for a start i m behind of almost the whole group...the coreography can be so hard...and sometimes i move around like a robot hahaha!! and also we spent quite a bit of time standing around discussing music..etc...which is cool - but i d rather just move. So i think:
- to catch up
- to do some excercize - make up for the lost time in the class
- to have an excuse to do my make up hehe
i ll do some belly dancing this evening like half an hour..i think i can fit it in.
Food:
Breakie: cereals + banana + skinny latte + freshly squeezed orange juice
Lunch: omlette from 2 eggs with tofu, onion, cherry tomatos
Snack: grapefruit OR strawberries
Dinner: Salad with tuna
WATER - I m changing the ratio: i used to have 30% water - 70% herbal/black tea - now i m swapping this around: 70% water and 30% tea & i ll drink more green - reading your diaries - i remembered good old green tea!
Let the countdown begin!!!
