Here comes my diary..i finally got around to do it.
I started (continued) my road to "slimdom"
3/January 2011 - 2 weeks ago and i lost 5,5 kg
I m happy about it. But i have grown to be an expert on dieting so i know that from now on its gonna be a lot slower than that. which is probably good news for my skin. My constant and biggest fear. I think about it nearly non stop. I can totally deal with eating less and doing loads of excercise..but the skin thing is the hardest for me.
I thought i ll list a summary of my stats/diet plan
Age: 29
Height 176cm
Start Weight: 125kg (in 2008)
Current Weight: 100,5kg
(it took me about 6 months to lose those 25kgs....i just stayed at my current weight for long)
Target Weight: 85kg by Easter hopefully
Sports: I do sports every single day for at least 1 hour - i go to my local sports centre -
I do cardio excercise (cross-country/skating/bike) 5 times a week and swimming 2x a week.
I would like to add some toning/weight training to it.
So far i chickened out to go to the classes - everyone seems so fit and energetic. I wanna do the fitness ball class and the body sculpting class
I also try to add an extra 30-60 mins walking every day - when i can fit it in
Eating plan:
i dont count calories. for me its portion control as well as trying to follow some ground rules by me:
-breakfast: wholemeal toast (a la catalana: with tomato&olive oil/ butter +sesame seeds/ butter & jam)
-lunch: carbohydrate with vegetables (amazing how tasty food you can make)
-dinner: salad & low fat cheese e.g feta/ vegetables + lean meat (fish/chicken) / miso soup with sea vegetables
-snack: fruit (i try not to go for the sugary ones like banana) / nuts (unsalted/natural)
& i dont eat after 7pm
Other: i try to include food that is good for the skin (done much research on this)/ take vitamins/food supplements
The first few days were really hard...i was craving chocolate and sweets etc (after the Christmas celebrations of course) but once i wasnt high on sugar it became easier.
So i m keeping the good job up...determined to reach my goal....Easter is around the corner!

go me! hehehe...welll i need to keep myself cheered on somehow.
not to keep my then weight) yes i got the strechmarks...they are faded now but other than that no saggy or loose skin. i m 29 now. again it s not too old...but yo-yo dieting has taken its toll. You should be fine!!!!
I went to the fitness ball class today. It was a small class today - so i couldnt exactly hide. I could actually keep up with the pace of the class - apart from one thing i did everything...i even attempted that one excercize...i really have NO abdomen muscles.....
