Just starting out

Here is my story.

I have never been more than 105, But in 2008 I became pregnant with my daughter and ended up at 145 pounds. I had my daughter in march of 2009, and got down to about 125 in 3 weeks, But SURPRISE I found out I was pregnant again. Yes, 2 babies in less than 10 months. By the end of my second pregnancy (Jan 2010) I was up to 160. A week after giving birth to my Son I was down to 138. But I began snacking on everything, eating unhealthy, and having large meals when the Babys are in bed, then just falling asleep myself without any real exercise. I'm now 152 pounds, and pretty much cry everyday, I don't even fit into the maternity clothes I wore while pregnant with my daughter, it's not only that I have gained weight, it's that my body shape has changed, I now have huge hips, thighs and a stomach. I HATE how I look. But I'm having such a hard time stopping. With a 13 month old and a 3 month old I hardly have any free time, and when I do I dont want to exercise. I bought a threadmill last month but have only used it twice, and it's like I cant stop eating, I think food is my addiction. I know if I dont do something now im just going to continue to gain weight and end up hating myself.

I really need some help.
My "Thin-spiration" pictures, are actually pictures of my old self.

I really want to get to about 110, and fast. Any ideas?

(I'll post pictures of now, and before-which is how I want to look again, when I get a few more free moments)

No healthy fast way

At your weight and with two babies it's only realistic to think about losing 1 to 1.5lbs per week. Unless you have a nanny or a hubby who's going to look after the kids while you work out you are going to have to do it by diet.

However, even pushing a stroller is good exercise. Try and get a little cardio in every second day. Hopping on that treadmill for 20 minutes will actualy give you energy and make you feel better.

I will let the women comment on this but I've often heard that continuing to breast feed as long as possible helps shed weight too.

If your husband agrees empty the cupboards of all the junk. When you're as tired as a new mom gets your will power is going to be zero.

I think the best thing would be to start tracking calories (there are a ton of free websites that you can use to do this). The websites can give you a calorie goal but I bet it will be between 1200-1500 a day (unless you are nursing-then you'll need more). I would concentrate most on diet right now because with two small children it might be difficult to exercise. If you have a double stroller (or a single stroller and you can wear the youngest in a carrier) then walking is an awesome exercise! Plus usually the little ones enjoy a ride in the stroller anyhow. Good luck...I have 3 small children and I know what a struggle it is to find time to focus on yourself!
