Just starting out

Hello All. I just joined today. I wanted to join this online community for support! Just recently I've lost 15 lbs, and I want to keep it off! I need to lose another 15 lbs to reach my goal weight. I know these last few pounds are going to be the most difficult to come off..but I want to do it the smart way, so they stay off.

Just recently I got married, and I returned from my honeymoon. I gained 3 pounds! I need to start working if off. I'm trying to find out the best cardio routine that burns the most calores in a 30-60 minute time period. I have access to a running track at the community rec center. I think I'm going to have to go there at least 4 times a week to start seeing results. Also need to cut back on the carbs. Had too much bread and pasta lately. So tempting...it's bad.

I know I don't drink enough water throughout the day. I'm hooked on diet soda..which isn't good, I know. Too dehydrating. I feel like I have no energy this week. I think it's from lack of exercise. My neighbor told me it only takes 72 hours for the body to become out of shape after not exercising? That's nuts! I better get to the gym tomorrow.

Welcome, You can reach your goal if you simply do what needs to be done. You could start with simple things like when you go out to eat, half the food and take one half home for another meal. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Only have 2 max diet sodas a day. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies and exercise at least 3-4 days a week. Good luck

I hear ya on the diet soda thing.. I'm hooked too. My favs are Diet Cherry Pepsi and Coke Zero. I can't live without them hehe.
