Have you ever had a year that you looked back on and thought, "Damn. That was a great year."? Well, I havent. I have thought about it, and concluded that I have not had one slightly memorable year since... 6th grade. And that was memorable in a bad way! Im going to have fun this year, and change myself for the better while doing just that!
I have come pretty far on my weightloss, from 210 to 155, but I barely notice a difference to be honest. Just lately Ive noticed that Im looking alittle skinnier, but then I look down at my gut and those thoughts disappear prettttyyyyyy quickly. My goal is to be at 130 in 3 months, then join kickboxing again! I enjoyed kickboxing while I did it, but then stopped going due to it being a hassle(and being sick of my step dad going with me, Im not going to tell him the next time I start going.). The kickboxing place has moved, and now is only a 10 minute walk away from my school! I would start going now, but would be ashamed to go back there as big as I was when I left.

To do this, I will need to lose 25 pounds, 1 quarter.

Well, Ive got to change my fishes water before they die from high levels of nitrite(who knew cycling was so complicated??), so Ill post here later!

Now, for those of you considering setting up an aquarium, I have some advice for you. READ UP ON CYCLYING I SWEAR TO GOD YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DONT! I got two ADORABLE orandas for Christmas, and silly me thought those fish loving fanatics were being overly cautious with this "cycling" bullshit. NO. NO THEY WERE NOT. I arrived home with two perky orandas in my petsmart bag, and put them in my 4-day "cycled" new aquarium. They were swimming around, la-la-la, all happy and cute. Next day, BAM! Both were at the bottom not swimming. "Oh, maybe I overfed them! La-la-la..." Third day, my fish with the white tail has red blotches all over it. "La-la-l- HOLY SHIT!" This is probably WHY those assholes at fish stores dont tell you why cycling is so vital before putting in a fish. We must have bought so much medication and other crap to help them its not even funny. BUT WOOOOWWWWW they were fully stocked on allll sorts of medications! WOW!!!! Big shocker! Assholes.
I have been changing there water everyday, twice a day, for about... ummm... 5 days now? I add water conditioner to it, and MAN does that shit srew up your skin if you touch it too often!
My hands have been rough, dry, chalky looking, have painful cracks in them.... Well all that happened at different times but it hurt everytime!

Anyways, moral of the story, READ UP ON CYCLYING IF YOU WANT ANY TYPE OF FISH BESIDES BETA!

Ive still got about a week or so more of these constant water changes and BOY am I excited about what my skin will look like at the end of it!

At like... 2:10 in this clip it switches to some weird girls dancing.

Now, if youre like me, once its past 1am you think there are things living in your closet and/or something is watching you but you cant see them.
So, Im cleaning my room at like... 2am, and listening to some Stevie. Sounds good, right? NO! This creepy ass song switches to the girls dancing and you bet your ass I am CREEPED OUT! I dont know why, but I thought it was going to be one of those shocker clip thingys where the scary face pops up. Lol. I was scared and it totally ruined the song. The end.

I need to do my homework...
 
Food for the day:
Breakfast: 2 eggs w/ a trukey burger
Lunch: Protein shake. (ice, soymilk, protein powder)
Snack: Some chex with 2% milk. Cheesestick
Dinner: Bread roll. (My sister said I was creeping her out with how little I was eating. Lol. You wanna know why I only ate that? Because the other options were baked potatoe and roast beef. Ill probably have some soup later.... Just havent been hungry much lately. )
Snack: Had some lemon pudding pie(yummmmmm) and hot cocoa.

Exercise: Ive got a bedroom routine set up ya'll! Ill modify it as I improve...

10 lunges each leg w/ 5lb weights
Squat 1 minute
3 reps of 10 crunches
3 rep of 5 push ups(I sucked at these lol)
Wall squat 1 minute(OW! Almost finished it, legs were shaking.)
10 sec superman 3x(face planted into my floor lol)
3 reps of 10 chest press ups on ball(5lbs, again, its the heaviest weight I have)
Scissors 3 reps of 20 seconds each(OWWWW! Surprisingly, I didnt think of southpark until now.. xD )
Stretch!

Took 13 minutes.
I have never heard so many bones crack in my life! My god! I was getting annoyed by it...
My legs are still pretty shakey, Im going to be sorreeeee tomorrow.

Snack: Sliced up apple and banana(My mom told me to put whip cream on it. Yeahhhhh. Who doesnt love whip cream and apples?)
Lunch: 1/2 cup brown rice.
Snack: 1 1/4 cup organic tomato soup
Dinner: 1 cup brown rice w/ turkey burger
Snack: Hot cocoa with soymilk as the cream(OMG IM SO HAPPY I HAVE SOYMILK NOW I CAN DRINK ALL THE HOT COCOA I WANT WITHOUT GUILT! Joking... :( I will have it every once in awhile though. :) )

Exercise: Im gonna exercise for 20 minutes, but I need to do something excluding my legs. Gimme a second to think of something..

3 reps of 15 sit ups
3 reps of 5 pushups
Shoulder press 3 reps of 10(OWOWOWOWOWWWWWW)
Weird sit ups. Hold in place 30 sec 3x(Go back and forth sideways while going up and down.)
3 reps of 5 pushups(I did these on my knees, a lot better in form lol)
3 reps of 10 chest press ups on ball
Stretch

Bout... 12-15 minutes. Wasnt counting.

I added up all my food for today and it came to around 900ish calories. :leaving:

Ill have to eat more during.. lunch I suppose? Yeahhh. I love excuses to drink hot cocoa! :smilielol5: Joking. Ill have soup and tea later. :nopity:

List of foods OFF LIMITS:
ANY fast food. STARVE before you put any of that shit into your mouth.
Any junk food(chips, cookies, ect..)
Bread(excluding wholewheat, but I wont eat it very often)
Potatoes
Red meat
Any liquid that is not tea, water, or soymilk. (ie milk, soda, hot cocoa :angelsad2:) <--- Hot cocoa is only allowed... once a week. :D
Human flesh

OH AND CHEESE!(<--- Parmesan cheese is okay in small amounts!)

ermmm.. thats about it! This is going to be a very monotonous diet!

I think the reason Ive been so tired lately is because Im not eating enough. Sighhhh. I guess Ill eat alittle more from now on.


Food for the day:
Breakfast: 1 banana, 3 eggs, slice of turkey
Snack: Some honey chex(I swear it was less then a handful! D: ) and a plain salad w/ southbeach diet dressing. (I need to find some toppings for my salads..)
Lunch: can of tuna(Ive been eating it very slow since its dry and disgusting. Thats a good thing, right? xD )
Snack: Apple & banana
Dinner:(1 cup brown rice, turkey burger, and fake butter)LOL. My mom got a central market pizza for dinner(uncooked), I saw it on the counter and the thought of eating any didnt even cross my mind.WHATS HAPPENED TO ME?!? Oh and I dunno what Ill have for dinner yet just thought Id share. I bet I just cursed myself and my willpower will vanish in like.. 10 seconds. Damn.

My new weekday workout is:

15 minutes weight training
20 minutes(or more) bike riding
20 minutes of the C25K

And most likely a flurry of push ups, sit ups, stretches, lunges:)(), and all that fun shit.

I dont know what weight youre at now, but from 210 to 170 the weight just seemed to... vanish over the course of a year. Just started eating lotttssss of brown rice and stopped eating a ton of junk food. Still ate the junk food, just not as much. :D(I dont eat any now though. I think that was the reason for the for the 170-160 weight drop.)
Oh and I had PE class... but I was a slacker in there so I dont think that had TOO much to do with it.
You might already know this, but if you dont, brown rice is a great thing to make a part of your diet!

Lol Im just excited someone posted in my diary! I thought I was on a deserted island over here! :D

I'm hoping my weight will fall right off! I'm at 205 approx. right now. I would love to lose 60 pounds. I'm working on it. I definately can see you've got to be doing something right. I will take all the advice I can get. :D

Brown rice eh. I can do that. I just have to conciously be aware of everything I'm putting in this thing and I think I'll be on my way in no time.

Obv I wish it didn't have to take so long! Seriously though, thanks for the support. I really appreciate it!

I usually put chopped up turkey burger or chicken in with the rice. Om nom nom. :conehead:

Once I got the diet right, it just seemed to stick. If I see my weight has gone up, I know Im slacking with my diet and I reevaluate it and start over again. (I got up to 159 after being 154, freaked out, and took me about a month to get my old diet back. I had been eating too much cake/white rice/chocolate. :D)

Look back at last year. Did that seem long? A year is nothing if youre working your ass off the whole time! :sifone:
 
OMG!(I know, text talk sucks, but this situation calls for it.) OMGOMGOMG!

So, I was all like "I have willpower no pizza for me," and I was all happy because I didnt even want any pizza. So Im downstairs in the kitchen, and my mom pulls the pizza out of the oven and....

"Mmmmm.. Smells good! Meat lovers.."
"Thats nice."
"You want a piece?"
"Nooo...."
"Just one piece to celebrate the last day of break then we'll start eatng healthy again."
"The last day of break is tomorrow."
"Oh come on I want you to eat pizza with me!"
"No thanks."

Then I came upstairs.

I thought I would have to be fighting myself to stop eating unhealthy foods, not my mom! Jeeeeesus. She does this all the time too.

It sure did look good though.. :biggrinjester: But brown rice, fake(I cant believe its not)butter, and turkey burger is just as good.

Actually that does sound good. Imma go make some. :reddevil:

Just saw you joined up on Team 2 for the 6 week new years challenge. thought I'd pop in and say hi. see how you're doing. Good luck with all the homework. makes me glad I'm done with school. that was the bane of my existance in highschool. :D
But anyways, looks like you've found a system that works for you, so brava. Sucks that your mom was tempting you with Pizza. sabotage everywhere. :D

Dinner: Wholewheat pasta, 1/3 cup organic tomato sauce, and a little bit of parmesange cheese(20 calories a tablespoon! Hell yeah! Or was it teaspoon...)

Exercise:
Doing laps to the bathroom and back hauling bowls of fishwater for 20 minutes. :smilielol5: (<-- frustrated/crazy person laugh.)
Fighting with two dumbfucks. It takes a lot of energy to deal with two people who dont know what the fuck theyre talking about. Burned about.. 1000+ calories doing that Id say....
