Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

Glad you got rid of a few pounds that were stressing you out, but I would still suggest ignoring that scale for a while!!! People aren't going to watch you weigh-in, but they're going to see the way you look when you step out of the house, and I'm getting the impression they like what they see :) Loose jeans and compliments are way more important than a couple of pounds on the scale.

And on another note, I also went on a Mexican binge last night, with tacos (made at home) on Wednesday, taco salad from the leftovers on Thursday, a burrito at a restaurant on Friday, and the leftovers on Saturday. And man, oh man, did I enjoy every last bite!!

thanks! i'm trying to ignore the scale, lord knows lol. i realized the other day why i'm a compulsive scale stepper. honestly, i don't trust myself. i don't trust my decisions, my calorie intake, my calories burned, and i feel like if i don't weigh myself every morning i'll wake up 5 pounds heavier when i really thought i was doing the right thing. does that make sense at all? that's happened to me before in the past. i work out, eat decently i think, and weigh myself after a few days and i'm gaining.

however, all that being said, i didn't weigh myself this morning :smilielol5: i resisted. so we'll see what happens in the next few days!

i am so jealous of your mexican food fiesta. i could bathe in mexican food. it is SO delicious. tonight i'm going to the cheesecake factory. eek.

give me strength oh lord. their menu is like 20 pages long.:drool5:

I know what you mean about the scale.... I guess that not looking at it probably is a good part of why I'm on this forum, haha. What you don't know won't hurt you? Yeah, not so much!!

I'm a tax accountant and at my last job we eat Cheesecake Factory sometimes twice a week during busy season. And you know we never passed up dessert! Way too many delicious options.

:) you're doing great. Hopefully shedding those pounds is making you even more motivated to lose more. I agree that it's not all about the scales though, when people start to notice and your clothes get too big, that's awesome (and an excuse to go shopping :) ) So take great encouragement that your jeans are a bit looser.
I went to Cheesecake Factory a couple of years ago in Florida, I'm so glad we don't have it here, I'd go too often!
