Hey guys, I edited my post yesterday to show my weight loss, I accidentally put -2.3 pounds... Lol, thats what I get for trying to do math at 6 in the morning :p Went from 162 to 160.2 so 1.8 not 2.3.... anyway, glad to see everyone doing so well!
 
Well its June 9th, but I am going to jump in here since I do not want to wait till July. I am struggling a lot lately, so my goals are low right now. I have not given up yet, and I dont want to wait 3 more weeks to start. I gotta keep going.

My tip is to not watch food channels because it encouraged you to eat. I like to watch the food channel but only if the food they are making is healthy.

Ugh.....

I totally went nuts last night and ate alot of crap. I hate when I have days like that! It usually happens after a long day of work. Just venting because I'm so mad at myself!!!! :banghead:
 
Hey Dazy just wanted to let you know I definitely hear you on the emotional eating after a tough day of work!!! I find something that helps me is having a lot of cut up veggies on hand and some dip made from low-fat sour cream if I need a little extra kick. Even separating the dip out into individual containers has helped me!!

One thing I've been learning is how to turn a negative into a positive so that I"m not constantly beating myself up. How was this time different than others may have been? Was there a point that you stopped yourself and thought "I could do something more productive with the way I feel right now"?

EVEN IF NOT - it was one incident. Take it and learn from it and turn it into positive reinforcement!! Form a plan for the next time you come home from work tired and grumpy/overwhelmed.

You can do it and we're all here to cheer you on! :party:
 
yup don't get down Dazy, just turn the next day into a good one! We all have bad days - just got to limit them!

I can't wait until the next weight in!! First time I've felt really positive about a monthly challenge where I think I might actually exceed the targets I've set myself! Roll on the 15th!

It's what I was expecting, to have a more modest week this week. I'm not surprised, with the huge week last week, and I didn't have the best week this week, I ate out twice, and traveled to the folks place on the weekend. I didn't make too many bad choices, but I wasn't as disciplined as I normaly am.

did get all my runs in this week. I'm using squash shoes right now cause I wore a hole in my runners, but I'm hoping that my new shoes turn up in the next couple of days.
 
Heatherdee and jjjay-Thanks so much!!! Yes I brushed myself off and continued on my merry way. I am fine when I eat something "bad". It's when I eat ALOT of something "bad" and can't stop. It is definitely emotional eating and I am fighting with it and right now I'm winning lol. Thanks for the inspiration and I'm so glad we are all here together through this. I really hope Emi does this each month and our whole group stays together each month doing a new monthly challenge to get each other through this. :hurray:
 
I am not looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow at all.

Got back from vacation last night. Ate mostly well thru it but did eat a few meals that I really wouldn't have in normal circumstances.

I DID work out at the hotel gym for 3 of the 4 days I was there (it was kind of funny to see the people that probably NEVER work out at home but thought doing the elliptical for 5 minutes would somehow negate all the vacation food they were eating...).

I would LOVE to see a drop, but not seeing a gain at this point would just about be the best thing ever...
 
yeah I'm with you Kayshiz...I'd be happy just to be 189 again tomorrow morning...I feel heavy today!
