That was the first picture of me I actually dared to put on this site, apart from my legs somewhere in Steve's diary. ;) And I woudn't have put this one in either, if it weren't for you and your photos. AND I'm guessing your figure under that white t-shirt is something worth seeing as well. White t-shirts never did any favors to anybody... :rolleyes:

Maybe I just need to put on a white t-shirt, take a photo and submit it here then. :p Did I already mention stubborness as one of my good qualities...
To be quite honest, doing the things I've done during the last five months and learning all sorts of things about how I can change my own body and mind has given me a new sort of freedom and happiness in who I am. My body's no more a lump of something which has its own way and my mind is free from some misconceptions of what I am and am not capable of. Food and exercise are not good or bad anymore, they're something necessary and joyful at the same time. I feel good and it's really fantastic when someone else sees it in me!
I'm going to cry in a second, so I'll just excuse myself for a moment here... :eek:
I guess what I'm saying is, THANK YOU! :D
 
It seems I got so caught up with all the conversation going on here in WLF that I have totally forgotten there's more to well-planned eating than planning. :eek: Fortunately the rumble in my stomach reminded me to throw the turkey breast to the grill and make myself a salad with some tomato, cucumber, iceberg, sunflower seeds and cottage cheese. So I'm off to eat now, see you later! :)

Tomorrow I'm taking a class at my gym concentrating on back&ab muscles and stretching and do strength training on the upper body and legs.
Sushi lunch with a friend in the afternoon and a nice walk on the beach in the evening.

Why am I here? Well, now, let me see... I'm barely in the limits of healthy BMI, which I wasn't, when I started here. I have a history of back problems, which I need to keep at bay with good muscle condition. In my line of business nowadays it wouldn't hurt to look 16, have 20 years of experience and have the body of a model, all at the same time. The first one I think is out of my reach permanently. The second one I've almost nailed. The third one, well, not even close. But that's the one I actually can choose to do something about. So these are the reasons for me to be here. That answer your question? ;)
 
OH MY WORD Mrs Jewels! Yep, I said Jewels because you are just as pretty as any I've seen. You have an amazing shoulder area, I'm very broad shouldered so your so lucky. And you look like your long legged too, another very lucky body parts to have. You look great and shouldn't be ashamed of your curves. How tall are you?? What is your goal weight? I salute you for posting a pic of yourself, it is hard to do, I know I still need to get a full body shot of myself on here soon. You've inspired me, THANKS!! :) Well, have a good rest of your day!

Hi there, Kim! Nice to see you here again! I'm delighted for the compliments :D
I'm 165 cm = 5'5" and my goal weight (should I ever get that far) is 60 kgs = 133 pounds. Right now I'd be really happy to get down from 149 to 145 pounds. My lowest weight during the last 10 years has been 141 pounds, twice, both times after very stressfull and unhappy times. It would really be an achievement for me to get that low AND feel good and healthy at the same time.
 
I know exactly what you mean. I'm 5.6 and my lowest about 10 years ago was 138, I looked great! But, I wasn't eating, thus the reason I was able to get there, but not stay there. It's a whole new ball game for me too this time around, I'm not fooling around and I'm determined to get to at least 142-145 by eating and working out. I just know it's going to take me a lot longer to get there. I'm currently 180, but nobody believes me, because I hold weight really well and I'm really muscular. We look very similar in our builds that's why I wanted to know how tall you were. You do have the nice shoulder area, I'm a bit broad and I HATE IT!! Well, I'm going to use you to help me with getting down to our goal weight, because I think we both want to get down to that area. If you don't mind of course? :) I'm sure you will be there long before me, but I look forward to working at it. Have a good day!!

Yay, a challenge! I'm game!
This is going kinda slow for me now, so I'm trying to shed the 4 pounds down to 145 before June 21st. So, 4 pounds in 3 weeks?? I'll race you! :D

I am hoping to lose alot of mine over summertime then maybe another 5-10
during fall.I can't wait to see 150!! I have been 180's for 5 months then 170's
for 2 months do to having some bad days.Anyway your doing good and I can't wait to see when your finished,goodluck,Tammy
