Hi, i'm Julie. I'm 18 years old, 19 in a few weeks. Iv just had my gorgeous baby boy Charlie 7 weeks ago. I'm currently 196lbs which is near enough my pre-pregnancy weight bu i'm looking to get down to around 130-140lbs. A couple of year ago i got from 226lbs to 180lbs but the 116lbs crept back on in the couple of months before i got pregnant. I was really careful during my pregnancy because i knew i'd only have to lose the weight after i had my baby anyways so didn't gain much weight apart from the weight of the baby etc.

I'm planning on starting my diet tomorrow and decided Saturday would be my best starting day as its weekends when i normally eat rubbish but i'm going to allow myself a treat on a friday night as i think this will keep me going. |I don;t really have a big appetite i just eat when i'm bored.
I'm going to try and do at least 30 minits on my exercise bike every day and at least 600 sit ups along with eating a very low calorie diet and not too many carbs.

I really think doing a diary will help me along my journey and hope the support from the people on this forum will help me achieve my goal!!

I will be posting tomorrow night to let you know how i go on with day 1!!

Day 1

Well, got up around half 8ish with Charlie, been very busy so didn't get to eat till 1ish and i had some weightwatchers tomato soup. I did 200 sit ups before i had the soup and another 200 before had my tea which was a weightwatchers chicken tomato and basil meal. I'm going to give the exercise bike a miss today as i'm too tired with beng out alot of the day but i'm going to do another 200 sit-ups and have a packet of snack-a-jacks with a nice cup of tea azt around 9ish! I'll make sure i do about 20-30 mins on the exercise bike tomorrow morning when Charlie has a sleep so i'v got time! i'm finding it alot easier not to think about food now i'v got my little boy! I just don't have enough time to think about eating!! I know i should be eating some more but if i eat any more it makes me feel like i'm not going to lose

Hi Julie, congrats on your baby boy! And congrats on getting started on your new journey! You're off to a good start.

There's some good sticky threads in the Nutrition and Weight loss through exercise forums that have tons of information that can help.
