Tomorrow I fast for 24 hours....which will likely end up being 36. I have turkey in the oven for the first time in about 3 months. The berries i bought earlier this week were as already moldy but i have avocados and salad greens. Still have soup and macaroni and cheese left. Should be fine.

Down 4lbs in a week with doing nothing different than taking supplements and getting sleep. My healthy wage is way behind goal but I can pull it out.

Another decent day. Not perfect but I'm at least staying within the twelve hour mark. Saturday I start 10 hours and the week after 8 hours. And I'm doing an 18 hour fast on the weekend.

Made out my painting schedule. It'll be tight but I can do this. Thursday I'll schedule a cleaning crew and carpet cleaner for late December. So nervous about everything. And then there's work...

The stretches are helping ease the pain in my foot. Yoga will help once I'm moved. First thing when the condo sells is ultra sound for Peri. The arthritis meds aren't curving her pain anymore.

Down another 1.6lbs this week. Only ten to go to get to where I was 3 months ago. Oy. But happy I'm on the way again. Peri has dental surgery in the morning.

Didn't overeat yesterday bc the restaurant put very little on the plate. Made it the 5 hours round trip driving which took seven because of an ocular migraine. Going through that phase where I have to force myself to eat but considering this is my most difficult time of year, I'm doing really well.

Been scared to start painting. Tomorrow morning! Promise to myself.

Yay! Started painting. Sent a picture of the doors I'd finished (which look awesome) to my cousin and her response? "Teehee. Not your strongest skill set." Wtf? The ensuing text conversation I uninvited her to help me in two weeks. Safe to say I'm pissed off and she's trying to backpedal. Yesterday on the phone she interrupted me and said, "shut up. I don't care." I was talking about how the new writer of doctor who has failed to develop an underlying story arc and the new doc has no dark side so far, but still, rude. I'll be very not unhappy to be away from her. She's supposed to follow the moving truck up and drive me back home. Maybe I'll get a tow for my car.

Finished two doors and half of another and painted the ceilings of both bathrooms. Need some touch up on the ceilings which I'll do when I do the kitchen ceiling. Very challenging work.i have major balance issues and stumbled off the ladder twice but I haven't fallen! Tomorrow I'm at work all day but I want to stand and spackle (if needed) the trim in both bathrooms. Office again on Wednesday and then walls on Thursday for the bathrooms. Weekend I'll try the kitchen but I'm moving on Tuesday so that's where my focus will be next weekend.

Wore my Fitbit for the first time. Don't like something around my wrist but love the competition to get in the steps and movement goals.

Lord, I'm dog tired.

Made six teacup flower arrangements for centerpieces at the retirement luncheon tomorrow. First time I've ever done flower arranging. Fun. Used every flower from the $50 of flowers. I will never again question the expense of flower arrangements.

It's going to be below freezing tonight. My condo is not very weather proof and the wind is coming through the windows.

Pick up my rental home key Saturday.

Uhaul loaded. Gotta vote early and then drive to new p0lace. Since uhaul won't grant me 26 extra miles to go safer roads, I figure 3 hours for a 2 hour trip.

Moved in. My body is completely exhausted. I'm gonna have to downsize a lot more. It'll be easier as I'm unpacking I think. Now to finish up the condo and get to the lake permanently.

Prepping my home for painting. Concerns me the dude hasn't mentioned prep work. But I'm doing what I can. Four windows left and then I've got to spackle.

Painter hasn't returned in a week. Today I nearly finished doors and my cousin started on trim. Hope to have sunroom done tomorrow.

Moving cats up tomorrow. Gonna come back on Sunday for another load and then Saturday week to clean. My feet hurt so much. But I got the kitchen unpacked. With only two small drawers I had to get creative. Really considering a twin or full bed bc the room is so small.

We're all here. Cats are slowly calming down. My beautiful queen sized inflatable bed deflated on me the first night. I bought a patch kit last night but after a night on my camping cot, I think I'll pack up the inflatable. And I've decided a twin bed is the right way to go when the condo sells. Simply fits in the room better. I'm looking at a daybed but I don't care for a footboard. Probably get an inexpensive platform frame.

Jasmine is barely eating. I forgot peri's steroids for 3 doses. Tristen hasn't had one coughing or wheezing fit since arriving. I'm tapering him off the inhaler.

My government is on shutdown so no work or pay for me for the next week, or month. If you look at the details over the last year, you'll see this w as s wholly planned. Rarely has military been funded for multi years and the rest of the government not. They were preparing last year for an extended fight this year. So glad I got up here before.

Woke up yesterday to snow on the mountains surrounding the valley. Beautiful. I couldn't get a good picture but here's one I got on the road.

No idea of my weight. I'm eating just enough to make it through the day and it's mostly sandwiches on white bread. Right now is just about what is least stressful.

Glad you're settled in. I will never understand how the system works in the US, but not being paid for weeks sucks! Take care of yourself, xoxo
