somehow, when it's your own site, you'll probably spend more time trying to reform people rather than just calling them out and kicking them out...
 
Rep Power is over rated! I gave someone 1 rep and it equated to over a thousand on that scale. Sheesh, not even sure what the point is of that anyway. Reminds me of highschool, who is the most popular.

Rep should be given to people who don't spew BS, then you could trust it.

Yea, that's my big thought. People love the comments associated with the rep but that can be done in public or via PM IMO

I think you are who you are and you respond to people in your own style - which is an incredible positive... (you have a genuine desire to help and you care about people -until they prove otherwise)

I don't expect that style to change -or for you to tone down your posting style... but I think (what right do I have to think) it would be different when it's your house and your business... or not...

I'm not sure if it will be different or not. I think the entire atmosphere will be different which will dictate minor differences in my posting style. My posting style is unique on each of the forums I communicate on. There's a foundation of 'me' that doesn't change but there are minor differences, which I assume is due to the different atmospheres. Each forum has it's own personality, if that makes any sense.

I keep getting the message that I need to spread a little rep around before I can give rep to my fav's.

What is a fucktard? Hilarious! I agree totally w/what you are saying. For the most part I've received great advice on this forum. It was from a guy named Steve. Do you know him? One solid dude....he has nudey pics on his profile too. Even better.
