It chills me out afterward so I feel great. It keeps my body looking damn good IMHO, especially my ass (when I'm near my goal weight I feel this way). It helps keeps my body fat down (you can argue with that, but you can't deny it totally). It soothes my neck pain that I sometimes get (that subsequently goes away after a session). Supposedly, it is also helping me maintain bone density, something I don't think about, but probably should. I have felt the pressure to not "bulk up" and have been told before that I was a bit too muscley on some parts of me, but I remind myself that every person is entitled to his aesthetics, and it's not MY problem if some dude don't like what he sees. That's fine, I think all the time "damn that dude needs to fucking pump some iron, his chest is pathetic" but I'm too sweet and polite to SAY that
Yeah I'm just talking through my experiences. I notice that the majority of ladies on the ellipticals are chubbier than me. The women in my gym who do free weights are more often lean and balanced-looking, and it makes one suspicious.....but then again, you never know where one is at in her journey. Us free weights chicks are probably just more gym-savvy and at it longer, maybe.
