Quotes of the day:

"It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult. "

"Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them - every day begin the task anew."

"Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear."

Thought of the day:

I love my remote control car.... I just got a new battery that makes the car go 65+ mph. 0-60 mph faster than my real car, haha. Fun, fun.

Hey I like those quotes, they're about courage and bravery, nice! :)

I BET you like that car! Enjoy! have a great holiday :):cheers2:

Well I hope the weather over there is good for traveling and that you have a safe/fun time!

Thanks.

I'm still in CT actually, leaving shortly I hope. The trip has been great.... weather has been all over the place, from rain to sun, warm to freezing. It's always nice hanging out with friends/fam I haven't seen in a while.

I feel like a sloth though, can't wait to get back into my normal routine and program. I did go for a very long mountain bike trip yesterday.... that really kicked my ass.

Hi everyone else.... too lazy to go post by post.

As I said above, leaving soon to come home and looking forward to being back on a normal schedule. I hope you all had lovely holidays and ate yummy food!

What was supposed to be a 4.5 hour drive on the way up here took 7.5! I saw a few accidents and got stuck in a 2 hour traffic jam for one of them. It was a horrific accident.... sad too. A guy failed to merge in the opposing lane of traffic when his lane ended and ended up losing control.... crossed the grass median and slammed head on with a tractor trailer. The truck actually rolled a time or two, amazingly, with a full trailer.

By the time I got to the scene everyone had been taken to the hospital but it was an scary sight. You could see the blood and whatnot and you just knew someone had died..... so unfortunate the day before thanksgiving. When you see those types of things.... makes ya realize how fragile life really is.

Hopefully my trip home will be a lot less eventful.

See.... we just had that conversation about reckless driving a few days back. What a damn shame. Well, on your drive back home, you becareful. Also, keep them damn long arms of yours in the car at all times. :D Hope you and Krista had a great Turkey Day.

Accidents around the holidays are always sadder, and make me thankful that I'm still around to enjoy them (holidays, not accidents). Glad you had a nice T-day and hope you have a safe and uneventful drive home. :)

Haha, thanks Sheryl.

I'm home safe and sound. Have a lot of work to catch up on today, hopefully I can get my ass in gear.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday. I stopped by your journal and it had me rolling..... that black friday story.... hahahaha.
