Lol, It just seems like from the very beginning of my joining this site. I have routinely seen someone try to "take a shot" or whatever at you from time to time.

In some way, its reminds me of this quote.

I know I have encounterd a number of people who seem to think that a disagreement is a "personal attack" of some sorts.

Yea, people have problems dissociating themselves from a discussion/debate. It's unfortunate really.

I've always viewed discussion/debate as an opportunity. I just said this yesterday to someone else....

A debate where we're being forced to defend our beliefs will either 1) reinforce these beliefs or 2) create doubt, in which case you reassess and either go back to 1) or you learn something. In any event, having people disagree can only be a positive outcome IMO.

If you can't think in those terms and are an ego-driven primadonna, stay away from me b/c you are only going to bring down others in your ignorance.

Most of the "experts" have the Eagles winning on Sunday. But it's kind of a split. We'll see. Should be a good game.:beerchug: And if the Eagles should win, feel free to come into my diary and rub it in. :D i'm used to the Lions losing, and have a thick skin..:rofl:
 
All joking aside, I really think the Eagles are going to get their acts together.

I must say though, I've loved Donovan McNabb forever. He's been playing like crap and Philly is giving him so much shit.... was really irritating me considering the guy has been taking that team to the nfc championship for years.

But it came out that he blamed a lot of the negative attention he's getting on being black.

That really pisses me off.

I'm pretty sure people are giving you shit b/c you are playing like you're drunk.... not b/c you are black.

Didn't Randall Cunningham use to get the same crap? I don't think he ever played the race card... you play in the NFL and you don't play well... you're gonna be given shit... welcome to the big leagues, son... Maybe Rex Grossman should start playing the race card in Chicago, he's being given a ton of grief not because his his head spends far too much time up his arse, but because he's white dammit...

I watched the eagles win the nfc championship game a few years back with Randall. Sat right next to him and had a beer.

Well, he didn't, but I drank 1 or so.

Oh I watched him play!

He used to be my favorite player. I still vividly remember him jumping over defenders into the endzone.
 
It looks like the Pats are going to win it all again this year :( They have too good a D and too many weapons up front not to win. I'm not even a Pats fan, I like the Bengals. (yes embarassing loss against the browns like week)
