Journey, Not A Destination

Never could get the hang of that, but then, I only play another instrument for a living ... you know, the sort you wrap your lips around... :p
How come that suddenly sounds really REALLY dirty?
Can't really recommend learning instruments by the internet, though. Results doubtful and causing unemployment on my field. Bad. Bad...

Juliette [still blushing]

The Internet is my playground.

Hello Steve!
How are your goals coming along?

They are still there, off in the distance. I have been lagging with dietary adherence. Not completely, but enough to keep my weight constant. I will probably be at this weight for a while now, as I have a lot going on that will get in the way of eating enough of the right foods.

But I will reach them.

Thanks for asking. :)

Can you teach yourself from the web? I taught myself a little guitar by learning tabs from the web. I wonder if you can do this for the harmonica?

I'd say no....but now my curiosity is piqued, so I am gonna go google it and see what I find...LOL! BTW, I play the acoustic guitar, just picked it back up (played back in my 20's and now part of the the old fogey beginner forum on AG)...now I just need to make the time to practice....I have to many dang things on my "to-do" list.

Playing music is so good for the soul. That is why I need to start learning something again.

I'm glad to hear things are going well. I know what you mean about the diet. I'm still getting adjusted to eating for health and not for pleasure.

Why not continue with the guitar? Although, I did have a harmonica back when I was in jr. hi and had fun with it...(keep this out of the gutter girls...:D ) I just ended up in a summer school guitar class and really enjoyed playing. But the harmonica is easier to take with ya anywhere, so I understand.

yup...I have a 1500 sf condo that costs $500,000....geez. Gas is $3.07 a gallon for regular unleaded (and that is one of the cheaper stations in my area..I could easily pay $3.17 a gallon at a lot of stations)....traffic sucks...rude people, high crime...even in the low crime areas. I could keep adding to this list, but I don't want to scare Steve away from visiting.

Can ya'all tell I am fed up? just a tad? sorry to be so negative..I'll work on my attitude.

Uhh...Yea, my bf and i were just discussing the gangs lol. No one things they're around in towns like the one i live in, but just last week a 14 yr old kid stabbed a 15 yr old on the most touristy street in town. It doesn't matter that we pay alot in taxes, Meth is a huge epidemic here, as well as other places, and it affects many families, I think drugs are a HUGE cause of alot of hardships.

I've been there and done that. I want to try something new.
