Journey, Not A Destination

So the radon guy is going out to the house today to estimate a cost as well as explain what it will take to repair it, as in, how. I'm anxious to hear what becomes of it... I unfortunately won't be able to make it.

This weekend was nice. Friday was Gord's bday dinner. Saturday was a family party while we got drenched with a tropical storm. Sunday I watched the Eagles kick ass (here we come Dallas next week!) and worked on my book a bit. It's about time I get that ball rolling again.

Hope everyone is well.

well jello might not be able to lift it - but you're pretty strong... wiht a little effort, i'm sure you could bench press the house - at least once.. :D

It would be nice... make things a whole lot easier. Where's Super Man when you need him?

Quote of the day

"This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...let it be something good."

hi ya, Steve....been reading a bit in your diary trying to get caught up...will keep my fingers crossed for ya about the radon thing...

Have a good and productive day of writing!

Beth

Any weekend where the Eagles kick butt is a great weekend in my book!

They looked good doing it to! MY Falcons won as well. I was shocked. The game was blacked out but from what I seen of the highlights they had a good game

Against the Lions I know but hey, most picked them to win about 2 games this years so I will take a win when I can. I hope the Eagles can take the division away from the Cowboys. I hate them.

I saw the Falcons did well. I heard their running back broke a record or something for rushing?

Don't let Trevor hear you talking shit on Dallas! But I hope we stomp them good next week. It's a Monday night game.

If both teams play like they can, it should be a hell of a showdown.

Radon abatement systems can be installed even if there's no basement. No worries. Do you know what your levels were?

Of course Detroit lost yesterday. :cuss: It's tough being a Lions fan. :ack2:
I'm wondering if non-Pats fans everywhere are rejoicing over Brady's injury..lol.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend despite getting hit with a tropical deluge. :D
We got over 4 inches of rain on Thursday from the leftovers of Gustav.

10.3

I'm not sure what metric they were using, I'm assuming it's standard and you'll know.

That's a tough loss, losing Brady. Did they say if he tore something yet?

Way to hear you are back at the book. I started one years ago, and it's been on hold. I need to get back at it too.

Hope the radon situation goes well for you. Good luck with that!! Did you ever find out how weather can effect the levels?
