Journey, Not A Destination

Steve, I copied and pasted everything you gave me on SMR into a Word doc so I can read it at my leisure. Thanks again, I have an optimistic outlook on this "injury" seeming that it's not particularly painful or debilitating. It could be worse! (Sarcastic) OH NO! I can't do the splits on my right side, heaven help us!!!

Haha - I was writing out a long post about your knee and likely injuries, than read this post before I posted it and I was like "Screw it. It ain't bothering her that bad". lol

Hahahahaha! You're very sweet, T., and thanks--and like I said, I most likely can work it out if I consciously put effort into it, and try the foam thing. It's gonna be uncomfortable, maybe even hurt, but whatever. I miss my flexibility :(

Well if you actually injured the area and it goes beyond a typical sprain or knot, I wouldn't use SMR. Try it. If it hurts bad, I'd stop. SMR isn't comfortable, but it shouldn't kill beyond belief either.

Loved your rant. It's refreshing to see people rant and actually have some substance to it. :) Sucks you seem to be subjected to the fucktards of the world. LOL But from what I know of you, you are quick to tell people the truth...and guess what...sometimes the truth hurts. I appreciate your honesty..it's a shame others choose to say stupid shiz or get defensive. I say keep doing what you are doing!!

I appreciate you! Although I still have not done my rows or used my roller I do hear you in the back of my mind. :) Soon...very soon I will do it!

It's amazing how this forum does that to people! I find myself thinking of people on here sometimes, even though I never met or heard them before in my life. I wonder what happened to Joe, or "Canon"?

Yes, I have Steve in my head. LOL Every time I see my foam roller I think of him. The first night I got the roller I put it on my California King bed and wrapped my legs around it when I slept. That was the extent of its usage. It makes a great substitute for a man in my bed. LOL

They're generally cheap.

I got mine from .

You can even pick them up in most sporting good stores now for 20 bucks or so.

Or, you can just use a tennis ball, though I would recommend something bigger to start.

Or just get some PVC piping.

was that a not so sublte hint that you want steve to buy you a new xbox for your birthday? :D The man is buying a new house and just bought a truck - i'm not sure he's got a lot of free cash around :D

Haha, call microsoft and see if you can send that shit back!

About the house, I received some disheartening news today. The radon test didn't pass and it's going to need a system installed. Usually they aren't terribly expensive but given the age of the home, it could get a little tricky.

Better to find out now then when you're in the house..

when do you find out if it's fixable within reasonable costs
