WOW. What a terrible couple of weeks for me. Absolutely no progress.
I gained back the 3 pounds I lost. Yeah, I know it is silly of me to keep tabs on the scale, but I am very disappointed with myself because I have lost all my progress.
Last week I was snowed in mostly because of a blizzard. I ended up sitting on my ass all day, eating junk food, and watching t.v. With hesitation, I managed to drive myself to the gym and get some excercise in today.
I have decided to take a different approach at the gym now. Since it is so hard for me to burn fat, I have decided that I am going to build muscle, instead.
In the past, I did MUCH better with building muscle, which in turn resulted in burning more fat overall, and creating a more compact, leaner frame that I was happy with, but I got exhausted with keeping up with it.
Well, in all honesty, I also have terrible eating habits. I don't eat as nearly as bad I used to, but I really need to make some permanent changes. I desperately need to cut out the sugar from my diet, since I know it's what drags me down.
I have decided to change my old plan, since it did not show me a whole of results, which I have tried to keep up for a couple of months. Although my body was changing, my weight stayed pretty constant. Also, I know that I really have to make a few major changes in my diet.
It's going to snow again, tomorrow. I can't go out and work out. I know that there are excercises that I could do at home, but I really don't have much to work with. I can do the standard push ups and sit ups, but that's all I really know.
I feel like I keep on coming up with excuses, and I don't know why. My lazy side is coming out. But I need to stay focused!!!
Well...no progress to report...sadly.
