Hey there, I wanted to say I LOVE your avatar. Such a nice photo. Mine, unfortunately was taken in the shadow of our sundeck. I'll have to get a better picture. I'm not as young as you spring chicks.

Am i falling off the wagon?? i noticed either i am not eating ENOUGH calories or im eating things i shouldn't , not going over my intake though, today, i barely ate, i took my daughter to mcdonalds, and ate 2 fish sandwiches with a small diet coke, thats all for the day. I dont know, I'm going through so much stress now. We are refinancing our home, but to find out that my husbands score went down, no idea how! So our mortgage payment is $3,000 It was supposed to be a lot lot less, but the interest rate went up because of that. I feel like crying :( My head hurts, and cant even think about putting anything in my mouth right now. UGH!!!!!!!! I'm soo tired today, lazy , i dont feel like going out for my walk. Seriously right now, and can go and pig out on some candy and chips to soothe the anger, but i wont. I promised myself that a month ago. urgh i feel like screaming :(

Thanks :) and well yeah .. lol i was around 7 yrs younger in that pic too, so i guess I'm not as young as my avatar anymore lol, but its a pic of me at my lowest weight i can remember, without the DOUBLECHIN!
 
Stress takes a big toll on your body, take a few minutes out of the day to relax. make sure you have healthy snacks prepared just in case you get those urges.

Ok start of the morning, I'm still cranky, grabbed a banana and water,hoping i will do good today, thanks all for the support, i really needed it :eek:
 
On my second cup of coffee, I feel so much better this afternoon. Hopped back on the wagon, and dammit I'm going to do good now. I weghed in at 193.2 this morning :( 1.2 lb gain [/COLOR]but T.o.m is near so I'm starting to pack on the water) not surprised.

So far today,

Breakfast:
1 1/2 banana 150 -1 coffee 45 calories = 195 calories

Lunch:
1 Huge bowl mushroom soup with noodles 200 calories
1 slice bread with 1/2 tsp light butter = 80 calories

Snack:
2 oranges = 160 calories

My dinner did not come out at all. I made the rice recipe posted in funkyphantoms journal, it smelled delicious but i think i over did it on the thyme, it just didnt taste right, will have to try making it again.
So instead i ate:
sandwich: 2 pieces rye bread, 2 slices veal bologna, mustard,tsp miracle whip light = 250 calories
Baby cucumber and half tomato, with 1 tbsp french dressing = around 80 calories

snack 1 large pear - 120 calories

total so far - 1085 calories 6 bottles of water

UGH - under again! what else am i supposed to eat!

I agree and it just well, we have to deal with it right? My problem is i seem to be more thirstier, but i dont use the bathroom as often, i wonder if i should take some pms pills, not sure what they are called , but i have heard it works well in not retaining too much water.

Protein, I am so bad with that. I dont like fish at all, i will have some chicken and rice(funkyphantom's recipe) for dinner, other than that i dont know any other foods that have protein.
I hear many of you eat protein bars, maybe that should help me out?
 
if your having a problem getting protein the bars a good choice, very convenient. The powder is also a terific alternative, Makes some killer smoothies :)

also...
eggs (careful with too much yolk)
Tuna (yeah you dont like fish... but try my tuna patties :) )
Pork is a good one,
Turkey is also great
Red meat at a distant one (lots of fat)
Broiled chicken w/salsa
broiled chicken w/ a lil bbq sauce
chick stir fry
 
OO oo i dont know if i can try the powder form proteins. doesnt it have a chalky taste? I will get some bars then. Can anyone recommend any?

Ahh the tuna patties, i love tuna! RJ i did ask you for your recipe once, but you must have missed it. I also offered you my tuna recipe :eek: but you must have missed that too :D


Wow i didnt know pork had protein! right now i am trying to avoid beef and pork..so a little pork wont hurt huh? i miss my gooood pork chops with grilled onions.:p
 
oh and protein shakes... if you make them with milk, and add some fruit it actually tastes good.

the one i can vouch for is the EAS 100% whey vanilla flavor. i got mine at walmart.

oh and those south beach Meal replacement bars are some of the best! im fond of the peanut butter ones :)
 
Looked at the recipe, and definitely something i have never tried! I will make those tomorrow, it sounds delicious! Do you have anything on the side with that?

I will have to give you my tuna recipe also. But it takes awhile to make it and usually lasts for about a week. I am going to make that tomorrow too and write everything down, calculate the calories, but i know you will love it! All my friends who hate any kind of fish, crave my tuna :D

I will have the recipe ready for you by tomorrow night.

Thanks for the info on the protein bars, i will definitely have to try them out.
