March 10 - 2nd week

Wow what a tiring day, so much to do around the house. We built a 2nd floor addition, which took 3 months, and now we have sooo much painting to do, before all the carpeting comes in..Its just toooo much. I have been working on my sons room for already a week. I dont know if its this changing weather but my back starts to hurt 15 minutes after painting those walls. ugh! Well his room if semi finally done..borders left , and in my daughters room..
Tomorrow we start painting the loft area..Thats going to be hell! 4 gallons of paint for that room. I just cant wait till all the rooms are finished..

My mother in law came by today, and shocked me with .. did you lose some weight? your butt looks smaller.. lol i didnt take it as a compliment, because i assumed my husband told her i was dieting and was just TRYING TO BE NICE.But, as it turned out, she didnt even know :) So she made my day..

I think i might have overate today..Im not sure with my calories, didnt even count yet so lets see.

Breakfast 10am
Slice of bread with cheese - 110 calories

Lunch 2pm
Subways footlong roastbeef and provolone cheese , water--
I was sooo hungry.- 600 calories?

snack 5pm
apple - 100calories

8:30 pm
Went to old country buffet - 1/2 cup Mashed potatoes, 3 chicken drumsticks with bbq sauce, 1/2 cup coleslaw, 3 tablespoons corn, water
I hope this didnt add over 700 calories!
 
Wow! Your are doing great!! Those inches lost are really inspiring! I would love to see photos of the work you are doing on your house too..if you have any you would like to share!

I guess I really need to take some measurements too :eek: ...

I always felt that i see a more difference in measurements, then in weight. I tend to gain a lot of water, so my weight will fluctuate a lot during the week.

Sure i can post some pics! maybe i can also get some ideas from you all :)

Our master bedroom is huge, with cathedral ceilings, and i have no idea what color to paint it..know nothing on interior design! and my bathroom, i have a peach jacuzzi, with creamy peach tiles, i wanted peach walls, but that would be too much peach?? maybe you all can HELP me! lol.. I will post some pics later on tonite.. I have to go paint the loft area now..

so far today, i skipped breakfast.. urgghh i over slept..i ate dinner at 2pm 1 baked potato. carrots,peas,rice and a small piece of breaded ground pork.
water on the side.

Oh and i lowered my treadmill yesterday and am walking at an incline.30 minutes.. wooh! my thighs hurt :eek:

Ohh i love my treadmill. :) I dont know if it would be fun without the music..if i cant listen to music, i make sure my husband puts on a really good movie..

Everyone keeps talking aboput an eliptical machine.. I dont even know what that is!! But i sure would like to try if it burns more calories..

I have a gym 3 minutes away from my house. I would sooo love to go. But whats stopping me is that i have no one to go with, and i am one of those shy girls, where my face would turn beet red if anyone looked at my loser workouts lol.. Anyone have a story to tell about your first day at the gym? did you go alone? OOO i really want to go.. My husband said he would stay with the kids and i could get out of the house around 9 pm..Wahoo to that! but bummer because i wont go :( :( :(
 
Hey - just wanted to congratulate you for your progress so far :) I have to admit that I didn't go to the gym on my own for the first time! Don't worry because everyone is just working away at their own thing. Sometimes you see a bunch of people that appear to know what they are doing but they have no idea either!! Maybe pick like one machine for your first time to just do some aerobic stuff and stick to it and use the opportunity to watch other people and scope out the machines :) That way you go at your own pace and just have to work out one thing at a time!! Good luck!
 
Thanks Rachie, i never thought about sticking to one machine, maybe i should try the bicycle, ooooo i will think about it. :)
 
Good morning everyone.. I am started my morning pretty crappy! My thighs hurt soo bad, i think its from the incline on my treadmill. I gave myself a break yesterday with exercising, and i think today also. Its hurts soo bad.. on top of everything, i had a fever all night yesterday, looks like the flu is going to hit me really soon. gosh darn it!

I had another compliment yesterday from my mom! she said my bootie got smaller too lol .. i dont know how thats possible in only 10 days..I cant wait till this friday, my second weigh day :)

my menu today will be..

Breakfast:10:30 am
1 slice toasted bread with low fat cheese. 110
1 cup OJ 110

snack: 12 pm
Medium Pear 95 calories

Lunch: 1:30pm
vegetable salad ( boiled carrots, potatoe,egg,and pickles, with a bit of mayo and mustard)
Slice of bread with butter - around 250 calories

snack 3:00pm
pear 95 c- peach 40c- orange 60c - Total 195 calories

Dinner: 4:30
I think i will make some homemade chicken soup with noodles, celery, carrots. 200 calories.
1/2 chicken breast 150 calories
with carrots 20 cal
cauliflour 20 cal

Snack
2 oranges -120 cal
1 apple- 70 cal

Total for today - 1340 calories
 
the achiness might also be the flu :( hope it does avoid you.. drink lots and lots of water and hope for the best...

way to go on the compliment from mom - that's great :)
 
I think the flu may have avoided me! (knocking on wood)I feel so much better today.Still have not exercised on my treadmill . Been 3 days now? I miss it. My legs arent in pain today, but have been painting the loft for 4 hours, and am just too tired, counting that as my workout, lot of ladder climbing..I will get some pictures soon :) I think i might have a picture of the bathroom though, maybe you all can help me with colors. Yep here it is.. The Tub is a peach color, and tiles are white with peach.

Another busy day for me, i couldnt even find enough time to eat..I had too few calories today. Walked 30 minutes.

Subway 6" Roast Beef Sub, 1.5 serving 440 calories

Dinner:
Chicken Breast, no skin, fried, 1/2 breast 161 calories

Mashed Potatoes, 1 cup 162 calories

Cucumber (peeled), 1/2 cup, sliced 7 calories with
Sour Cream, 1 tbsp 26 calories

Vinegar,salt,pepper to taste

wow 726 for the day? thats a meal short of your goal... (sheesh im one to talk) maybe some extra grease from the fried chicken got in and it helped even you out :) Maybe some peanuts might help ya make your goal giving your limited time, helps me out.
 
I think i will go and buy some peanuts! lol it was such a busy day, i had my dinner at 8 pm!:eek:
