I just joined the Army to go into the Infantry. Very physically demanding and requires one to meet high standards.

I would like to strengthen myself up and lose some weight. Also build some endurance. Dieting is something foreign to me, I would like to brush up on that also. I would like to use weights, there is a gym in town with everything you can imagine. I don't ship for awhile so i'd like to be in outstanding shape before I do.
If anyone has workout plans or advice, would be much helpful.
