Vicki,

That's awesome Vicki. I hadn't heard from you on the thread and was praying you were still kickin' ass. I'm doing great again, thank God.

Hey guys, I know it's a little late but I thought I'd jump in and join you with the weekly weigh ins. I'm 161, I started at 166. I'd like to get to 135. I got down to 154 in March but have been slowly going up from there. I'll post a picture sometime when I get one if you want.

ps. I love reading people's progress! Keep up the good work!

You rock Kitty. I love that avatar pic!

hey everyone, i signed up for the saturday weight in and this is my first one. just to let everyone know I'm down 1/2 pound, not much, but better than nothing.
Good luck to everyone ;)

I'm going through a rough time. My food and training are cool but I'm slipping into a weird mental state. The skinny is I start filming a TV show this Monday for 2 weeks. I feel like I'm buckling a bit under pressure. About 10 days ago I stopped working at work and started to rest a lot because I felt fried. But now I'm glued to the couch and can't move, unless I'm in the gym. It's like it took some sleep for my body to realize it was worn out but with everything going on it's like I can't take a break from training. I'm not depressed. Maybe I'm just feeling the pressure. I don't know. I feel like so many people are counting on me to pull this show off and I still have wieght to lose. I'm freaked out that I'm going to be filmed for a 100 hours and I still am not confident with my body. I need you guys on this site more then you'll ever know.

James -

I wish I had some magic piece of advice to say to you to help you feel better. Unfortunately I'm not that smart. LOL Just know that I'm here for you and that we all care. Look how far you've come! You've done a great job! :p

James,
You are doing so great, and it really really shows. You look amazing. Just remember that if you slip up a bit, it's not all over. We all do it, especially me;). Hang in there, and if you need inspiration, just look at your old pictures and see how far you've come!

Hi James,

You're doing just fine - it sounds like you're stressing out over the show you're filming. A quote from Shakespeare in Love seems relevant here...

Shakespeare in Love said:
Philip Henslowe: Mr. Fennyman, allow me to explain about the theatre business. The natural condition is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster.
Hugh Fennyman: So what do we do?
Philip Henslowe: Nothing. Strangely enough, it all turns out well.
Hugh Fennyman: How?
Philip Henslowe: I don't know. It's a mystery.

You've come a long way, your pictures show that. But it's the next step for you to actually believe it yourself. Just remember to have some fun along the way. It'll make a great story when you're done.

Thanks guys. I really feel better today, I went back to work and I feel more connected.

Stingo you are an interesting cat, great reference. They're shooting on Friday and I feel better. I'm kickboxing tonight, hitting the stairs in the morning... All's well. You guys rule!

James
