Jill' starting over...

Monday

total averages for the week:

1370 calories

57.57 grams of fat

162 carbs

pretty close to my goals... off to the scale!

202.6!!!!! lost .8!!!!

Im alright with that because:

1. I didnt make the best choices

2. I wasnt exercising every day (but I did make my goal for the challenge!
1.5 hours on the bike, hour walk with my friend=2.5 hour... goal was 90+45!!!)
so, its not all that bad!

3. I havent been getting enough water

4. I lost weight!!! eating sugar, flour... even wheat!!!??? who knew??

You all did !! hahaha

Hey Jilly,

Glad you had a good time with your daughter. :) She's very pretty. Is that your new van? It looks really nice.

You're smart to limit the junk food and send it back with her.

Congrats on the .8lbs loss!

Yup, I lost 60lbs eating all that stuff you mentioned. :D It can be done. No need to make yourself completely miserable and deprived..lol :smilielol5:

Your long bike trip sounds like fun. I need to get a bike. My old one got stolen. :cuss:

And remember--the more you exercise, the more you can eat. :D

Other than that one bad day of eating, your food looks great. :)

Lyme disease causes numbness, though I never heard of it in the face. I also heard of Bells paulsy or something like that where my sister's boss was paralyzed in half her face for several months but it went away and she was fine. That is frightening though mama, keep your chin up and stay calm. It could be something *relatively* minor like **stress**. Ya never know so try not to get too upset til you find something out. I've waisted many a day worrying about some non-existent illness or bad test result for family members that turned out to be nothing. So even I've toned down the worrying til I know otherwise [and I can be quite neurotic when it comes to health].

Hey! Just stopping by to say hello and say how great you're doing!!! Are you sure you're eating as much cals as you think you are?? Your daily intake looks great! I'm the newbie here, so I'm sure I'm wrong...LOL

Keep it up!!!!

Blancita:

Thank you so much for your words of wisdom, can you please live in my pocket? or in my head? I need you! haha

I am such a worrier.... just a few hours til she gets to the doctors (see, its 4 am and Im up, worrying!)

someone told me once, "If you are going to worry, why pray? If you're going to pray, why worry?"

(((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) you're a good friend to have!

Carrie!

Thanks for stopping by! I have been tracking my calories thru fitday, Im pretty sure they are accurate... it didnt feel like alot of calories to me, either!

I also added some grape juice and sunflower seeds last night to my body, so i ended the night close to 1,900 calories...

Totals cals 1894 fat 68 carb 194 protein 130

Sorry to hear about your daughter. Hopefully Claudia's right, and it's nothing serious. :hug2:

I'm so glad your happy with your new van and your new plan. :D

Yup, dieting doesn't mean you have to die...lol It's better to make changes you can live with longterm, or you're bound for failure. Looks like you're bound for success. :)

Let us know how your daughter is doing. I'm glad you are finally eating normally. Keep up the good work, do a bit of tweeking and you will continue to have great results!

HI Gang, just popping in quick, Ive been at the hospital since Tuesday. Carlie has had two MRI's, a spinal tap and several other tests...they think its MS (Multiple Sclerosis)....

trying to eat well as best I can, we should be able to go home tomorrow. xoxoxo

Jill, I'm sorry to hear your daughter is having all these tests and may have a serious issue. I'm over here hoping for the best. Good luck to you dear :).

Its been confirmed... my daughter is pretty young to have MS but she started treatment and we are hopeful!

today:

b-fast- veggie omlet with couple bottles of H2O, cereal bar

l- chinese noodles with bits of chicken and pork xxx vitamin water

Wow, that is pretty young. So what does this mean? I had a client with MS--she was in her late 40s, though. Is there medicine to treat it?

You seem to be handling it very well. I'm sure you must be relieved to have a diagnosis. Half the worry is not knowing and fearing the worst, I imagine.

:hug2:

I think Im in shock

and i hate that he lives at dads and I cant take care of her...

on the brighter side, she is going to come stay with me for a few days as she isnt due back to school til wednesday, her face is at 75% recovery.

Im really pissed.... but I think the shock is holding me together....

and i gotta hold it together for her, right?
