I only recently found the weight loss forum and ive been really inspired reading about everyones achievments so i thought id start my own diary!
Ive pretty much been overweight my entire life i was born 10 pounds lol! Anyway after years of trying faddy diets and never seeing good results i became serious about my weight loss plan. I started out at 122 kgs (269 lbs) and after dieting and shedding buckets of sweat i weighed in this morning at 114 kgs (251 lbs). Im 5'8 tall and i hope to get down to about 75 kgs (165 lbs).
The first few weeks were really though i didn't feel like i was getting anywhere but once my clothes started to feel a bit roomier i was encouraged to keep going. Having lost 8 kgs (17 lbs) sensibly i really hope im going to be able to keep it up and achieve my goal weight.
I used to obsess with junk food - crips, choclates, take aways all the ususal i suppose. The funny thing now is i honestly dont even miss them (i'd never of thought that was possible!)
Anyway i'll keep ye all updated on how my weight loss is going and i look forward to reading all of your journeys!
