I am 28 years old and a stay at home mom. I stand 5 foot 4 inches and weigh 240 pounds. My heaviest was after my second child was born. I weighed 286 pounds at the 6 week post partum visit. I would get winded just grocery shopping. That was 2010. Since then I've had one more child and managed to drop 46 pounds. Four of which I've lost in the past 3 weeks. I'm currently in a weight loss challenge group. The person who loses the biggest percentage wins the pot that stands at $800. Motivation!
My long term goal weight is 140 pounds. I realize it's going to be a long journey, but so worth it! I'm trying my hardest to make healthy eating a habit and I track my calories. That's what's working for me now. Someday I really want to run. Miles and miles I hope! That's another thing I look forward to
