Hello all!!
I know I haven't been updating lately, and that is because I have been out of work with Bronchitis and a severe sinus infection for almost 2 weeks now. Thankfully, my work is very understanding and has even asked me to stay home until Monday (if I feel better). I've been doing a whole lot of soup sipping, video game playing, reading, sleeping, and web surfing. I wish I could say that I've lost 5 pounds in the last two weeks, but due to my lady time of the month I went up about 3 pounds, and last night when I weighed myself I was just back down to 169. I'm starting to feel better now, and am going to go for a walk tomorrow (I know I should be in bed- but I'm beginning to get a little bit of Cabin Fever!!) and hopefully then I will be able to report another half of a pound gone, or something along those lines. I've been playing a great deal of Rock Band lately- so I've been dancing around (as much as a person can dance while sitting cross-legged under a fuzzy blanket) and I think that has helped prevent any water retention or weight gain.
Well, sorry for the slightly boring update- I'm still motivated, and I'm still reading peoples' stories! Just finding it hard to get moving again when my lungs are so painful!
I wish everyone the best of luck, and I will let you know how the walk goes!
I'm hoping to have my sweetheart take some pictures of me in a sports bra and shorts so that I can really see myself changing. More motivating!! Hopefully I can have those up today- I just have to remember!!
