Well here we go again. Ive done it before and i know i can do it again. Since im on vaca the actual diet and exercise will start next monday. right now im mentally preparing. the worst part about dieting if going to bed hungry!!!

Anyways, when i get home ill get a starting weight and then ill start keeping you guys posted on my results. its nice to know that ill have some poeple to talk to who KNOW what im going through!!
 
Ok so here we are, starting day 1 officially. I was going to get up and tryu to work out before work this morning but Im still tired from traveling back from Wyoming. In any case, Ill jump on the elliptical when i get home from work.

Im going with the 1200 calorie a day + exercise plan which is what has worked for mein the past. Keeping up with this diet is going to be really hard during the summer months but Im gonna go at this thing full force.

i took a few before pics but im not willing tp post them without aftesr attached just yet :)

My starting weight is 173.2 and my goal weight is around 150... 23.2 lbs to go... your support is greatly appreciated :)

WHat made you decide to go with 1200 calories a day?

Youo might want to do some reading around the forum, especially the sticked thread for some info about what calorie range you really should be in - 1200 is low...

there's really no reason why you should be going to bed hungry...

I only wish I could stick to 1200 calories, but I'd be fainting and wouldn't be able to exercise (and I'd probably commit murder as I turn into a royal biatch when hungry). I agree with Mal that it sounds a bit low if you'll be exercising, but maybe you could calorie zig zag, meaning have a few 1200 calorie days but otherwise increase to about 1700 or so. Usually a deficit of 500 max is a good starting point. To each his own though and best of luck Miss Jeuzy Girl!

thanks for responding guys, its nice to have some support! in any case i decided to do the 1200 cals a day since it is what worked for me before.. however i wasnt exercising in addition before so i might up the intake a little bit. Day 2 is going alright, always hungry but ive learned to cope.
in any case, im gonna try to exercise when i get home again tonight like i did yesterday- that worked out well for me.
