Well, the glycogen thing seems reasonable considering the liver reserves will be pretty much depleted after a good night sleep. However I can't do much cardio, running wise that is, my doctor said that I must not do anything with high joint impact while at this weight; I could try the elliptical thing though(I wonder who would have a machine to lend me this day?).
By the way, don't you get like monumentally hungry after that cardio? specially since you are yet to have breakfast.

I'm one of those persons, swimming makes me extremely hungry, however, it's a temporary thing; the appetite dies down after an hour or so. I can simply go to the pool with no money so I won't be able to buy any food in my way home; I walk slow on the way back, so I'll make it in around 50m instead of 30m. That should hopefully do the trick.
