I AM IN THE TEENS!! 219 this morning!! I am so stoked! Yesterday I went shopping ( I finally broke down!) and bought a new shirt...2 sizes smaller than the rest in my closet!

It's impossible to NOT feel your elation when reading that. Congrats! That's so awesome. Keep it up! You have another Canuck rooting for ya. :D
 
So I am crusing right along...21.5 pounds lost now! I did my measurements too, its been awhile and since my start weight I have lost 32 inches! My biggest loss in 4.5 inches around my waist, 5 across my abdomen and 3.75 around my bum. This kind of stuff is what is keeping me on track! I am starting a "Learn to Run" program today with a friend. You jog for 30 seconds and then walk for 4 minutes and 30 seconds and so on. After 13 weeks you are supposed to be able to run 10km (just over 6 miles) without stopping. Exercising is getting easier as I drop the weight and I am actually looking forward to jogging after work today!!

Thanks!!! So I did my first run yesterday and it was SO easy! Today I did it again and it was not so easy lol It wasn't hard but I was just more tired today. Also yesterday I did it with a friend and today I was on my own. I want to curl up and sleep now but I promised a friend I would go to aquasize class with her tonight so I am on the hook for that.

I bought another shirt today, I couldn't help it! I don't want to buy new clothes every time I lose weight but I have a meeting tomorrow and want to look nice. I love Reitmans, not sure if everyone has those. Basically its dressy casual and plain casual, plus size on one side, regular size on the other side. Well today I though, what the hell, and skipped the plus size and tried on a few XL's from the regular side, and THEY FIT!! Of course its the ones with some stretch in them but I don't care! I will take that victory!! I am so stoked about this!!

I also had to buy new work out pants as I needed ones with a draw string. Its not fun holding your pants up while you try and jog LOL Spent money I shouldn't have but OH WELL! Can't take $$ with ya when you die!

Down another pound! I didn't budge for a few days but I guess its better than going up. Went to the gym last night after Scouts and did 30 minutes on the tread mill and 30 mintues with some weight training, focusing on my legs, hips and bum, my problem areas. Its like the weight is melting downwards. Reality is I am losing off my top faster than my bottom and its frustrating. My jeans are all to big in the waist but barely loose in the thighs. I guess thats where belts come in handy, although I have never had to wear one for any reason other than fashion haha Made a bold move yesterday and got my hair cut short...and I do not like it...but I think I am just not used to it. Someone at work told me the secret between a bad hair cut and a good hair cut though...2 weeks lol and so I wait....
 
Been battling feeling crappy the last few days so haven't done too much. Trying to get rid of a cold then slammed by massive cramps...gotta love this time of the month :nopity:

I am up half a pound but I contribute it to my period as well. Can't wait to get out of this funk. Going out for a jog after work. Starting week two of my running program. This week is jog one minute, walk for 4 minutes. Sounds easy enough?

Oh almost forgot, yesterday I went to Walmart cuz I needed some new workout pants. Turns out jogging with yoga type pants is not good, they keep falling down. It isn't that easy to find pants with a draw string but I did. I got a moisture wicking shirt too for jogging...and the best part...I bought them in a size large!! I could have almost gone for the xl but it fit with some room, I would rather have a snugger fit so they can fit for longer. It has been over a decade atleast! since I bought something in a size large!:party:
 
Congrats! That has got to feel good!!!

Great job on your progress so far, you seem really excited about it so the motivation should just keep on coming right along. Good luck on the running plan, you can do it :)
 
Thanks for the replies! I was a bit sore today from my jog, mainly my bum muscles LOL probably from jigglin to and frow! I am really tired today and had a full day so no exercise to speak of. Back at it tomorrow! I will do some updated pics soon, want to make it to 210 by the end of the month but that is only a week away now! Also want to make it to 200 or just below by June 1....shouldn't be too hard... Good night all!
 
Congrats on the big 25! Or shall I say little 25 as it's not on you anymore so you're littler! :D

Good luck on your new goals, it's always great to have a short term to look forward to. Any specific reason for the June 1st goal?

Thanks for stopping in my diary, and WOW you are doing great on your weight loss journey. I call it a journey too, because its just going to continue for the rest of my life. Once I start maintiaining after I get to my goal, I will be happy! BUT YOU are doing awesome. Youll be at your goal in no time. You go girl!

Thanks! It feels so slow somedays but I know its the journey not the destination...I feel so much more healthier than I have been in YEARS and for the most part I am making good choices for my body in terms of food and exercise. I look at the scale and think WOW I have lost 25 pounds and then I look in the mirror and think, crap, is that all it looks like!! lol Oh well got to keep on, keeping on! 1/3 of the way there!!
 
So I haven't been on here for a week or so, lots going on personally. I hovered around 211 for a bit and this morning, hopped on the scale and it read 207! I am SO close to dipping under 200!!! Its a good feeling!! Still doing my jogging program, I am on week 4, I am sure that it has helped a lot with the weight loss. Going to stick with it!!
 
well I have totally slacked off this last month and a bit but I am still holding steady at 207, no gain, no loss. Back on the diet now!! Wish me luck!
