My steps for Saturday and Sunday:

I'm impatient. I peaked at the scale this morning. I know...I know. I'm horrible. :D 4 lbs down!! 24 lbs down since the end of July. :hurray:

The kids are home from school today, and I think I might take them out to lunch, just to do something fun. Its also a really nice day today, and we won't get too many more of those, so we should probably enjoy them. :)

Great job on the 4 lbs. Whatever you are doing is obviously working so continue the good work. 24 pounds in 3 months is awesome!

Awww.. thanks, everybody! You all are great! :grouphug:

The kids and I had a nice little lunch date. :) I ended up having a bowl of chili. Then we went to the store to pick up stuff for dinner, and then out to my friend's house. We ordered t-shirts last week to show our support for her during her chemo and radiation treatments. They came in today, so I had to go pick mine up. There are a bunch of us running around in these now. :) They say "C's Crew" on the back... except the C is her whole first name, obviously. lol!

So proud of her! She's stubborn(even more than me, which is impressive..haha), strong, and so, so positive! If she can fight her battle, with a smile still on her face most of the time, I can surely fight my weight battle. She's an inspiration for sure. :)

Can you imagine if the shirts really did say "C's Crew" though? It would say "Fight Like a Boss" on the front and "C's Crew" on the back, and everybody would get the wrong idea.

"Oh my God, did you see that?"
"Yeah, how disgusting."
"I have seen many supportive cancer-related shirts in my life but I have never..."
"The nerve of those animals. 'C's Crew?' What kind of monster would be rooting for the CANCER?!?!"
"Look at 'em. They're smiling too. Laughing, having a good old time. Getting off at the thought of death while their poor friend fights for her life."
"Do they not have a soul?"
"Those bitches deserve to burn in hell."
"...bitches."

You're looking so trim, woman! You star. And your steps are awesome!
Aww...thanks!!! You are lovely, as always, and killing it on the steps!! :)

Well, we can be bitches, but we're not that bad. :p

I woke up really sore this morning and super hungry. Today is going to be a challenge. I want to put all the food in my mouth. All. Of. It.
I'm not going to, but I reeeeeally really want to. haha!

raw

Yup... that sums up my thoughts this morning.

I am so sore. My whole body aches, but mostly my legs. I'm not used to all the walking I've been doing. Which is sad, but true. lol! I'm also tired. I need a nap.

Oh... haha...so I had a wonderful "mom of the year" moment yesterday. I picked my son up from school, and I typically park right across the street from the school, so all he has to do is cross the street at the crossing guard, and get in the car. Well, it had been raining, so where I parked had a little mud puddle. So I have the side door open on the van and his plan is to throw his backpack in the car and jump over the puddle to get in the van. Ok... good plan, except he throws it in the van and it falls right back out into the mud puddle! And what comes flying out of his mouth?! ...."DAMMIT!" Keep in mind, we're in front of the school, the crossing guard is right there, and there's kids running by. *sigh* lol! Needless to say, he got in a wee bit of trouble when we got home. Of course, that's a word that he can apparently say CRYSTAL CLEAR. Mom is now trying to watch her mouth a little better, in case he got it from me. We're usually pretty good at not swearing in front of the kids, but we're not perfect...obviously.

Anyway.........food today has been pretty good. Gonna go do some walking to get my steps in!

Funny I can always remember trying to clarify with my then 3 year old- it is Truck--- Tr - Tr- Tr-LOL.

The aching will go away once your body gets used to all the walking. You look great by the way- I am sure Chef tells you that all the time.

Yes, truck was tricky! I remember the word "clock" being real scary for a while too. haha!
Thank you! Yes, Chef tells me all the time. He's always been very good with that type of stuff. :)

Calories yesterday: 1650(little higher than I would of liked)
Steps yesterday: 10,289

Calories today: 1500
Steps: 10, 861

Overall it's been a good couple days. I've been decent on calories and I met my step goal both days. I think I'm going to look for something else I can do besides the treadmill though. Maybe dig out one of my yoga or pilates dvd's, or we're going out Saturday to do a little shopping, so I might look for something new while we're out. I just need to something a little more fun to do. I really wish I had my old original Tae-bo tapes. I'd probably die trying to do them right now, but they were fun. haha!

I mean, does it get much better than this...

I don't think so. :smilielol5:

The two women in that pic are just there for the money and the view, I don't think they truly believe in Tae Bo.

Please continue to share your parenting fails, they make me feel better about my own fails!

Oh, no, they clearly did not believe in Tae-Bo. lol! Don't worry, I'm sure I'll have another parenting fail before too long. I'm always learning!:p

Still working on my steps for today, I think I have around 1500 more to go. Calories are around 1450. I've been fighting a funky mood on and off for a few days, brought on by a few different things. Goal for this weekend is to stay at or below maintenance and not go crazy with the junk food tomorrow.

My legs are still sore, but not like they were.

I feel for you with the fighting a funky mood Jen. I think I am mainly tired. My steps are WAY under today & I might just have me a nana nap xoxo

1) Did he pull his man-tits out? Is that what I'm seeing here? It looks like he tugged his tank-top down so we could revel in the glory that is his chiseled man-bosom.
2) Why are we NOT watching this? HAHAHA

Yeah, seriously. I don't know where the fuck that little shit gets it from.

My favorite part of that picture (besides the Billy Blanks cleavage) is the two random people waaaaay in the background, nearly lost in the shadows. Why are they there? And, why so far in the back? Did they do something wrong? Do the other people even know they're there?

I remember that Billy Blanks DVD- I think we had it and tried it a couple of times. Oh the memories-lol? I always wondered why all the people in those exercise DVDs never looked like they needed to exercise. Where are all the larger people? Where are the people that actually need to do the exercise. Wouldn't we all feel better and maybe buy the DVD is the people in the video looked like us? Just a thought!
