Thanks, guys! :)

I had a little bit of extra time today while I was waiting for work to come in, so I decided to try on the new shirt I got a couple weeks ago. I purposely bought it a little bit small. I put it on and took a picture, so I could compare in a couple months. It pretty much fits now, but it's a little more snug than I would like in some places. After trying it on, I got down on myself for a few minutes thinking about how I had been a good deal skinnier than I am now a couple years ago. Then I came on here to put my pic in the album I have on here, and saw the picture of me at my highest weight.... and what do you know... I felt better. haha. :) I've maintained around the 200 lb mark for so long, that sometimes I forget how much I've already lost. That was a good reminder. I was so uncomfortable and unhappy about so many things. I don't want to be at that weight ever again.

Food today was good. Tomorrow is going to be kind of a busy. I'm probably going to have to wait and do my workout at night. There's just too much going on during the day.

Great job on fitting into the shirt better!
Having previous progress pics is helpful, and sometimes sad. I look at my 'high weight' pics and am happy I am losing and am not there anymore. But then I look at the pics from when I got down into the 130's last time I lost weight and am very sad I'm not still there, or that I didn't keep going then and gotten to my goal and stayed there!

Good job reminding yourself of how far you´ve come! It´s just too easy to get used to nice things and forget about how valuable they are.

Jen, that is one advantage I must say of my being a "woman of a certain age." There is absolutely no point in having regrets or in dwelling on what has gone or what might have been. I see your lovely new ticker & it tells me how far you have come! Everything that has happened in your life has made you the woman that you are now, xoCate

So today I did the C25k Week 1 day 2 workout. My hips were kind of hurting towards the end, but it wasn't too bad. I'm going to try to do the 3rd one on Friday.

Food today has been good and pretty low carb.

I was down to 209.8 this morning. So that's a nice little drop. Now starts the race to get rid of these pounds that are keeping me in the 200s. Can't wait to see Onederland again!

Onederland is so close. Congratulations on another loss. Can't believe you've already lost over 80lbs. :Angel_anim:

Thanks, ladies! :)

And I have those pictures of me at a lower weight too. Well, some of them. The pics I had when I got down into the 180s were on my old computer that died. So I can't torture myself by looking at those. I do have this one though from when I was down in the low 190s I'm going to guess....

Never again. :)

Today is a half day for my kids. It's the start of our local festival/carnival. We also have apartment inspections and I have a few other things to get done this afternoon. So, I'll most likely be doing my workout tonight. I'm going to have to send Chef to the bedroom for a bit, because I don't want an audience. lol!

Speaking of Chef, he's been doing his personal month long challenge that he came up with, and part of it is telling me something that he loves about me every day. I loved today's so I had to share....

"I love how creative you are. Your mind is always working on overdrive, which sometimes can cause you to be a little on edge, but when you focus that chaos on something you enjoy and use your creativity to release your emotions, you always create something beautiful."

:beating:

Which brings me to... I started a new drawing a few days ago. Something a little different this time, it's a couple of cute little birds sitting in a tree. After I get a little more done I'll post a picture of it.

Sweet! :beating: You two! :beating:

Thanks, Cate and Mystic! :)

Ok, so I didn't get around to doing the Week 1 Day 3 workout last night. But, I just did it a little bit ago. Yay! Week 1 is done. Kind of scared about starting the next week. lol!

The scale was kind of mean to me this morning. I hopped on there and it said 202. I was like..haha... WHAT? ... that can't be right?! So I stepped off of it and back on.... 200! ....off and back on again... 199! I was like...well, either my dreams are coming true and the weight is just falling off of me... OR it's not sitting right. I move it a little bit, and back to 209.6. :( It's ok though. I'll see those numbers again very soon. For real though. haha.

Will try to catch up on diaries tonight. I'm behind.

Oh, also wanted to add that I took the kids to the carnival yesterday, so there was some walking involved there. And Chef and I are about to head up there in a little bit, so that'll be some more walking for today.

Those scales are a tease! It won't be long though & you'll be back in Onederland. Enjoy your week-end Jen, xo Cate

Thanks, Cate and LaMa! :)

I thought it'd be fun to take progress pics with Chef as a couple. I asked him, and he of course immediately followed that up with ..."naked ones?".. ... No, not naked ones! lol. He wasn't quite as excited after that, but he still agreed. lol! So yesterday we took a couple "before" pictures. I think it will be nice to see our progress together. Although he drops weight really fast, so when we take pics next month I'll probably be all pissed off that he looks way skinnier, and I'll be like..."this was a stupid idea!"...lol. But, we'll see how it goes. :)

I .. uh... obviously had a little fun with our faces. haha!

Whenever I am really watching my calories G always loses weight. He's the lowest he's been since he was a teenager. I don't want him to be fat or anything, but sheesh! Take another photo of just you.........,with clothes on ha ha.

Are there supposed to be pictures showing up? I don't see any!
Progress pictures can be SO helpful when you don't see a change in the mirror. It really shows you where the changes are!

That's weird! Chef and I can both see them on our laptops. I used the bb code from my album. I guess I'll post them as attachments. I posted pics a few days ago too, I'll guess I'll repost those as well. Stupid internet. lol.

Ok... so here's an old pic of me at 190. Hopefully I'll see this again soon....

I really don´t see that much of a difference between you now and you at your lowest weight but the difference to your highest weight is amazing, great work!

:iagree:- Me either. I think, like me, you may carry any extra weight around your hips & thighs & it's not as noticeable to others, but is to us. Looking good Jen!

Thanks, ladies! And yeah, I definitely carry my weight in my hips, stomach, and thighs. The dreaded pear shape. Hopefully I'll be a smaller pear soon though. lol.

I started the C25k week 2 today. I did ok with it. Was kind of rough at the end, but I pulled through. Food today has been ok. Snack monster visited around 3:30, but I kicked him out after a couple of small cookies. lol.
