Calories have been around 1500 the last few days. I haven't weighed myself since I'm hovering around the 199/200 mark, figured I'd just give it a week or so and not worry about it.

It's getting harder to avoid the holiday goodies. I'm doing the best I can though. :)

So happy about you meeting your goal!!!! Onderland by year ends!!! I hope I catch up soon stil have almost two weeks !!!! Great job on resisting the goodies!....in my case is more resisting the wine and cheese!!!

Calories have been ok the last few days around 1400 to 1500. Not expecting much of a drop on Monday though, mainly because I've been eating a lot of high carb/high sodium foods. Even though my calories have been good, I'm probably retaining water.
At this point I just want to make it to my Jan 1st goal without gaining anything(stay under 200). Even if I splurge on Christmas a little, I'll have 6 days to get back down to my goal. So, I think I'll be ok.
 
I missed you hitting 199, woo hoo! Maintenance throughout the holidays sounds quite treats. reasonable, especially with the kiddos bringing home treats.

I've been doing ..ok... not great, but ok. Calories have been around 1500-1600 the past few days. Definitely having more treats, but was trying to keep it reasonable....until today.

Today has not been good. I had to go with my mom to have her cat put to sleep. He was 16 and a member of the family...I called him my furry "little brother". I know he's better off, he was definitely suffering. Not eating or drinking and just looked horribly sad. It needed to be done, but still heart breaking to lose a member of the family. Not a great start to the day or Christmas. :(

After crying a bunch, I ate a 500 calorie piece of chocolate pie. sigh. I could probably eat the whole pie right now. uuuuuugh. I'm going to try to be good the rest of the day though. Emotional eating is always my downfall.

Tonight will be like our Christmas Eve. My kids are going with their Dad for Christmas this year, so we'll be doing Christmas with them on Christmas Eve. I have lots to do today, so hopefully that will keep me busy and I can avoid stuffing my face.
 
When the time comes to decide to have an animal put to sleep, you know that you are being kind & that it's the right thing to do, so that they are not suffering. Don't eat that pie Jen!

So my diet has been pretty bad the last few days... but it's been the holidays and I honestly don't care right now. haha!

OH...I also got a fitbit and an iShuffle. I love them too, but not as much as the ring. haha!

So today I am officially back on track and counting calories after my holiday binge. I'm also using my new fitbit. I like it so far!

I'm not sure how much I weigh right now. I'm going to give it a week before I weigh myself. I know I'm retaining a lot of water. New goal is 195 by January 1st. I'm going to be shooting for 5 lbs a month on average until May. Easily doable if I stay on track and start exercising again. I'm going to start trying to use the treadmill every other day. We also have gym memberships that we need to start using. :)

Today is the first day of 2015. I have about 25 more lbs that I want to lose, and this is the LAST DAMN YEAR that I'm going to be saying that! I'm hoping by May I'll be at 175 lbs or very close.

I think the best change I made in 2014 was giving up my pop habit. Yes, I still have one now and then, but it is no where near the habit that it used to be. It is actually a treat now, and not just part of my every day life. So proud of that change!

I also lost about 15 lbs in 2014. I'm happy about that too, of course. :)

What I'm going to to work on in 2015:

EXERCISE!! It is the one thing that I'm seriously lacking in. I'm going to try to go back to the every other day routine. I was doing that before and it wasn't too bad. I also have a new iShuffle and Fitbit, so that will help this time around. I love gadgets.. lol.



Goal for today: GET ON THE TREADMILL.

Calories yesterday were just under 1450, and I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

Today I have to pick up the kids from my Mom's, run some errands, clean, and get some work done.

Along with my fitness goals this year, I think I'm going to make some financial goals. I'd like to start saving more money, which means working more. I'd like to follow this money challenge...

I probably won't follow it exactly, but it's something to shoot for. If I can put more in I will. I'm not saving for a house specifically, but the challenge will still work. :)

I'd also like to have some goals for my artwork this year. Nothing specific yet, but I'll come up with something. :)

I'm with you and the knuckling down part. The holidays are great and all, but with them over it's now easier to get down to bidness. The both of us need to kick ass and take names this year.

Yesterday my calories were around 1400, and I did the treadmill for 30 minutes. I also worked on insanely tedious work tasks all day yesterday. It was literally like.... *click...click...click...submit...click...click...click...submit*... over and over and OVER again for like 9 hours straight. They're super easy, but my brain was fried by the end of the night.


Today I'm working more... and cleaning. I have lots to do!

I was planning on weighing myself on Friday, but this next week is going to be kind of screwy for me. My mom is having surgery on Wednesday, so I'll be in the hospital with her for a few days, and then at her house for a few more days. I don't trust her scale, so I'll probably won't get to weigh myself until the 12th or so. It's also going to put a damper on my every other day exercise. I'll find something to do, even if it's just walk around the house for a while.
 
Calories were good today.

It was another day of mind-numbing tasks. I'm exhausted.

It's been snowing and blowing like crazy here. I'm betting tomorrow will be a snow day for the kids. I'm torn on how I feel about that... I'm ready for them to go back to school, but sleeping in is pretty nice. lol.
 
Snow day! It is bitterly cold outside. I had to go get my blood drawn a little bit ago, and now I'm back home and hiding under a blanket. Brrrrrrrrr.

Calories were good yesterday(around 1400). I'm shooting for the same thing today. Today is a treadmill day.

I bought new mittens yesterday to prepare for the cold that'll be hitting us this week. No snow, though (booooo!) Stay warm!
 
Feel free to send some warm weather our way! It's a balmy 3 degrees right now! With the wind chill it was well below zero earlier. I'm done with winter. We need to move. haha!


Calories for the day are 1350. Walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Also managed to get a fair amount of work done. It was a pretty good day.
