Hey Jen, good to see your still here! I'm also finding myself with new motivation after leaving the holiday season.
 
Thanks, everyone! :) I ended up doing the Low Impact Cardio Workout for Beginners(30 min) & Lower Back Stretches for Sciatica Pain(9 min). That is 39 minutes of exercise for me today. I liked the videos. I started out with some slow ones because I haven't done anything besides the treadmill in forever...and sex..that counts as exercise right? Can I write that in for the exercise challenge? haha...I'm kidding! Anyways, I knew it was going to be rough. Muscles were used that haven't been used in foreeeever. I feel pretty good though. It was a good day food wise too. I'm around 1100 calories right now, and plan on having a little snack later. I'm not sure what yet, but it won't be over 200 calories.

I ended up having a couple hard boiled eggs last night, and ended the day at 1296.

I'm just working today, and then going over to my mom's later to clean her apartment. Chef has this weekend off. I'm not sure what we'll be doing, although I'm imagining it will involve lots of talking about how he wants bread(he's doing low carb) and how I want chocolate. We are sad, sad individuals, but at least we can commiserate together. haha! :)

Tomorrow is my official weigh-in day. I'm hoping I at least lost 2 or 3 pounds. *fingers crossed*
 
Jen, sometimes love is sharing misery. Good luck on your weigh-in tomorrow. I'll be here to taunt you if I do well and I'll avoid you if I don't because that's the kind of good sport that I am.

Yes it does count as exercise, but we would need lots of details to confirm how vigorous this activity was :D LOL.

But good job! Hope your weigh in is success so you can taunt Quercus.

I agree: shared misery can be helpful.

I'm good on my calories today. I expect to end the day at 1200-1300, depending on what I have for my snack tonight. Exercise again tomorrow!
 
Weigh-in day! I was 210 this morning. That's a 4 lb loss for the week. I'm very pleased. :) Today I'm just working and hanging out around the house. I'm gonna fit in the treadmill or an exercise video at some point today.

I have a little treat planned for myself for later... spinach dip and asiago bread. Yum! I'm being good the rest of the day, and don't plan on going too crazy with it. I'm shooting to stay under 1600 calories today.

Great job, Quercus! I'm sure I lost mostly water weight this week. My loss next week will probably be a lot smaller..lol.


I did 40 minutes on the treadmill today. I've been really good on calories all day, and I have plenty left for my snack later. :)
 
209.2 this morning. :D

I didn't end up having a big snack last night, so my calories were only around 1300. Today is a rest day, and I need it. My lower back is killing me.

My goal for this next week is to get down to 207, and exercise at least 3 times.

I'm still at 209 this morning. I ended the day yesterday at just under 1250 calories. I just got done doing 40 minutes on the treadmill and an arm workout. Shooting for 1250 again today.

The Blacklist comes back on tonight!!!!! I'm soooooo excited!
 
208.6 this morning.

Today was a very much needed rest day. Chef and I decided to do a 15 min beginners Pilates workout last night, and this morning every single muscle in my body hurts. Every. Single. One. I'm so sore..haha!

Calories were around 1250 last night, and will probably be just under 1300 tonight.
 
Pilates is harcore, jen. I didn't get to do any last semester due to a scheduling conflict, but I'm really looking forward to a pilates class this semester. Good job with the food!
