Hello, my lovely forum friends! It's been a little while since I've updated, so I thought I'd get on here for a few minutes. Things have been going pretty good lately. My calories have been really good. I did have a cheat day yesterday, but that's the only day they've been too high.
Today has been a busy day. We had to take one of the kids to see an orthopedic doctor for scoliosis. It's a very slight curve, but they want to do xrays regularly just to monitor it. The drive was an hour away, and by the time we got out of the doctors office, ate dinner, and got back on the road, it was dark! I hate the time change! It didn't help the DJ on the radio kept talking about how depressing it was. lol! I definitely am going to have to keep my mind off that fact, because winter is the worst, and I don't want to slide backwards.
I've lost 4 lbs the last I checked. I've also lost one and half inches off my stomach and hips. I'm happy with that. I also lost an inch off my boobs( not real pleased with that, but whatever. lol) My pants are getting loose again. I keep having to hike them up. My face looks thinner. That is more telling the scale, so I'm not going to worry about it.
Starting tomorrow, I'm going to start watching my carbs a little closer. I'm not going to do "low carb", but just try to cut back where I can. Eventually I might start cutting down little by little to see how low I can go before my migraine auras come back, but for now I'm just going to make better choices and not worry too much about it.
I still need to work on drinking more water. I hate water. The flavor stuff doesn't agree with my stomach at all. I hate lemon in it. I hate tea. I also hardly ever get thirsty, so that doesn't really help. I just need to get my big water bottle out and put my big girl panties on and get over it I guess. lol!
